TITLE: Find me Here
SUMMARY: 12 years after Alex’s death and the Royal Four have left, Post Departure, pregnancy was fake, alien abduction is real and acknowledge by all. Several planets believe Earth to be inferior, and they tend to kidnap humans and take them to either be the equivalent to slaves, or they study them. Liz gets captured and sent to an alien planet. Guess which one?
DISCLAIMER: You know it, I don’t own it, they all belong to the Jason Katims, Melinda Metz, you know the drill
find me here
speak to me
I want to feel you
I need to hear you
you are the light that is leading me
to the place where I find peace again
you are the strength that keeps me walking
you are the hope that keeps me trusting
you are the life to my soul
you are my purpose
you are everything
and how can I stand here with you
and not be moved by you
would you tell me how could it be any better than this
you calm the storms
you give me rest
you hold me in your hands
you won't let me fall
you steal my heart and you take my breath away
would you take me in
would you take me deeper now
'cause you're all I want
you are all I need
you are everything
Liz stepped out into the bright sunlight, blinking with astonishment and surprise. The sun was blinding, but she had grown up in New Mexico. The glare of the sun against the desert was nothing compared to this. But the men, if she could call them that, had on thick sunglasses that hide their eyes from view. Their skin was covered by the pure white clothing that resembled a policemen’s uniform on Earth. They weren't men, she reminded herself. Aliens. She was among aliens.
What Liz didn’t know, as she was being pushed and dragged from the ship in chains, guards on both sides of her, was that according to the beings checking her name and species off the list and the beings on the side of the street who were gawking at her, was that she was the alien.
“Species.” She didn’t bother looking up. The week long trip here told her enough about what they thought about her. She was a human. She didn’t deserve any respect whatsoever, and was hardly considered a person with feelings and emotions . To them, she was a lowly prisoner who had no rights, no feelings, nothing. Except a body and a voice. A very little knowledge. If they only knew . . .
“The King insists on seeing the Earthlings before deciding their fate. Take it up to the palace instantly.” The alien-man-being sneered down at her bowed head. “No respect for anything, these Earthlings. You better show your proper respect due to the King and Queen, or else you will die sooner than planned.”
How was she suppose to know the “proper respect due” to a foreign monarchy? Just great. She was going to die in the very near future. But she decided that it was better than living on an alien planet far away in the galaxy without anyone she knew, without anyone with real feelings. Even on Earth, she had Maria. She had Kyle. She used to have Alex. She didn’t have Max, but she had been living twelve years without him. She was used to that.
She didn’t look up to see where she was going. She was a prisoner of them. She belonged to them. You belong to yourself. That voice in her head again. For years she had heard it when she was in trouble or when she just wanted to die. Sometimes it sounded like Max, most of the time it was Alex. This time it was the both of them speaking together. Keep your head down. Don’t look up. They want you to look up, to force death upon yourself. Keep walking, no matter how much they try to push you down, don’t stumble. Keep going. But the other voice, that sounded like a tiny and scared version of her own, kept telling her just to fall, give up. Max would never know what had happened to her. She could just die, here and now. No one here would care. People on Earth would never find out.
“The King wishes for the remaining prisoners to be taken to the Intergalactic Chamber for their interviews. Please escort them promptly.” Apparently there were other humans taken, like her, away from their every day jobs in the war, and whipped around the galaxy until they landed on the right planet. Liz had yet to meet or even see anyone else. There was no one but the guards, with their frightening dark skin, red eyes and their pure white clothing. During the flight and her imprisonment there, she had flashes. More flashes than she had had in all the twelve years Max had been gone. Flashes of the White Room, and the men in white suits coming for Max. She would be left shaking. In her dreams, they would come for her while Max sat in the corner and laughed at her. Those dreams would cause her to wake up screaming. She had several bruises on her body from being slapped for making noise. They hadn't understood it was her dreams, her unconscious thoughts that haunted her. They hadn't understood anything.
“You’re next,” said her guard. He wasn’t as tall and as big as the others. Probably because she was so short and small, they had thought he could handle her. If they only knew about her powers, the powers that Max had unknowingly transferred over to her . . .
She was pushed up against a wall, her head still down. Suddenly the wall moved; it was a door. Liz stumbled in, the chains clanking against each other. The guards on both sides of her pushed her until she stood in what she could tell with her peripheral vision was the middle of the room. There were many people in the room. They were dressed in robes, completely different from those outside. Round, with steel walls and floors. She was just waiting for the moment they shoved her down onto the hard floor.
“State your species to His Majesty.” The guard nudged her.
“Human,” she answered dully, still staring at the floor.
“State your name,” said a completely different voice. One that sparked in her mind. It was familiar. Should she look up? No. Not yet, said Max and Alex in her head.
“Elizabeth Anne Parker Evans,” she answered softly. The guard holding her jerked her sharply.
“Look at him when you talk, Human! He is now your king, and you look at him when you talk to him!” Now. She raised her eyes slowly. Many in the room gasped at her, for her many bruises and for her astonishing eyes. Many in the room could feel the torture in her, merely because her eyes were so expressive and was screaming out to them. Others knew that this human had been tortured on her way here. And all could feel the anger and sadness she gave off in waves. One in particular, nearly fainted when she saw who this particular prisoner looked like. Who it was.
Oh God. Of all the planets in the universe, she had to be captured by this particular planet and group of people. It was him. He was here. And with- her! She was sitting next to him, like he belonged to her and not Liz! Liz stared at him. It slowly dawned on her that he didn’t recognize her. Max didn’t know her. No sign of recognition on his face whatsoever. Completely blank. Expressionless. She, on the other hand, was staring at her like she was a ghost. She blinked at Liz, and stared in shock at her. Liz stared back for a brief second, and then looked at the king.
“Elizabeth Anne Parker Evans,” she repeated louder. The king nodded, and blinked. Something about that name was familiar. Too familiar. But he had no idea where he had heard it before.
His forehead wrinkled. “Why do you have so many names?” Liz gathered up the courage at the gentleness in his voice he was using now.
“On Earth, you have a first name. Elizabeth is mine. Then you have a middle name, which is Anne. Parker is my maiden name, my parents’ last name which is also the name you go by before you get married. And Evans is my married name.” The queen‘s eyes widened slightly, and glanced quickly at the king. He did not notice, he was too puzzled at the name and history of this human.
“If you’re married, then where is your husband?” Liz looked back down at her feet, the tears building up. How could he ask her that? “Where is he?” She could only tell him what she felt. And she couldn’t keep the anger nor anguish out of her voice.
“He’s a prisoner here, on Antar. Twelve years ago, he was brought here against his will with someone who murdered my best friend. I haven't seen or heard from him since.” The queen was beside herself. But she mentally braced herself for what she knew the king would ask.
“What is his name? Perhaps we can rejoin you two.” The king felt responsible for the woman’s misfortune. But when the woman looked up at her, he could feel her misery and hatred pouring out. And for some reason it was directed at him.
“His name is Max Evans, and I highly doubt you could ever find him,” she spat out before letting the tears fall. The king bristled up. Why would she talk to him like that? She was behaving very mysteriously.
The king leaned over and whispered to the tall man beside him. He nodded, and wrote something down. That man whispered something to a teenage girl, who nodded and left the room silently. Liz couldn’t reach up and wipe away her tears, the chains prevented that. Though she managed to stop crying, the tears were still glistening on her face. Liz then realized they were waiting for something. Everyone was openly staring at her in amazement and wonder, some faces utterly disgusted. Liz couldn’t imagine what they were waiting on. But the guards on either side of her knew. The Court were openly staring at her scars. They were in for it.
Minutes later, a side door opened, and a few people entered the room. No one except Liz looked at them. Her jaw dropped. He- and her! What was going on? They had barely glanced at her! Why wasn’t anyone besides Tess recognizing her? Because she had seen the horror in Tess’s eyes. She knew that Tess knew.
Michael went over to Max, the Max who wasn’t her Max at all, and they had a quiet conversation. Michael then went over to Isabel and told her. She then looked over at Liz, and stared at her for a moment, and shortly nodding. Isabel turned and left smiling; obviously she was happy.
“Put her in the Agency. Take her to the White Room. They will handle her from there,” Max told them, giving her a second look. Liz froze. The White Room. Oh God. They were going to torture her like they had Max. How could he do that to her? Didn’t he know that she had nightmares about that still? How dare he! How could Max stand there and order that!
“No! You can’t do that!” Liz backed up away from the guards, who were confused about her reaction to the statement. She started struggling the moment the guards seized her. “No! Don’t take me there! No! Max! You can't do that to me!” She wrestled with them before someone touched her head, and the world went black.

Ava watched as Liz Parker was taken from the room. She was Ava now; they all went by their original names. Ava, Zan, Rath, and Volandra. Once they had returned to their planet, the Emissary felt it necessary to remove all their memories from their life on Earth. When they had found out, Isabel was reluctant, but agreed in the end. Tess had always suspected she did it because she wanted to forget all the bad memories about Alex. Michael had refused, as had Max. Of the two, Max had to be physically forced. They had strapped him down to the chair, him yelling at them and kicking. Max was adamant about not forgetting Liz. Tess had always wondered where Max and Liz had gone the last three days that they had been on Earth. Now, with Liz Parker here on Antar as a prisoner, it was apparent. There was reason for Liz to give her name as Elizabeth Anne Parker Evans. Max and Liz had gotten married.
How dare he! Ava glared at Zan, who was in deep thought and didn’t see her glare. She knew that the girl had struck a chord deep down in him. In addition, she knew what chord. She couldn’t help but wonder at what the girl thought of her now. Ava knew that Liz still thought she was evil, and that she had killed Alex. She would have a good surprise waiting for her. One thing Ava had learned over the pan of her twelve-year life on Antar was to be patient and kind. And Ava was. Ava and Tess were as different as night and day. She had learned many things here.
And now she was worried at Liz’s reaction to the White Room. So he could figure out why he felt some form of emotion for the girl, Zan had placed Liz in the Agency. It was similar to the “study” the FBI had done to Max and the other aliens. Except this study was done to humans on Antar, and it was definitely more of a study, no physical harm was done purposely, and they were treated much better. Still, they had no rights on Antar, and were kept in the Agency, the building housing the project and the name of it. A study of humans. One thing that was customary for the study was for the patients was to be knocked out and placed in what was dubbed ‘The White Room’ to examine their psychological and physical reactions. She knew that Liz would freak out. It wasn’t very often that there was a new addition to the Agency, so as a curiosity, all the Agents, the Royal Four, and whatever humans already in the Agency would come and examine the new human. Ava thought it was rather awful of them to do it to the unknowing human, but it was fascinating.
“They should be giving her the shot by now,” she whispered to Zan, touching his sleeve. “If we want to see it, we have to get going.” Zan nodded.
“I agree,” he said lowly. Louder, he announced that they would be going to the Agency then. He and Ava stood and left the Chamber, and made their way through their underground secret walkways to the Agency. When they entered, Volandra and Rath were already there.
Zan smiled at his sister. This project was her baby. Volandra had been mesmerized by the humans, and their range of emotions and feelings. Their lack of power combined with their limited sight and hearing mingled with body language was fascinating to her, so she had jumped right into the Agency once they had returned.
Zan’s smile fell, and he let his face become expressionless while he thought about his past. He didn’t remember anything about his first seventeen years. There were times he could almost remember, when he was asleep and dreaming. He often dreamed about a petite girl with long dark hair. He could never see her face, just her gorgeous hair and figure. She would be twirling around in circles, dancing to a strange tune. He would sometimes hear her voice, talking to him. He could never distinguish what exactly she was saying to him, but it was just the murmur of her voice that captivated him. When the soldiers would return from Earth and bring back the fruits and plants of the alien planet, Zan would remember something. He would pick up a box of strawberries and drop them on the floor. He would lean down to pick them up, and be overcome with flashes of the girl, and him kissing the girl. The very sight of strawberries did that. Other times, he couldn’t even imagine that he had ever lived on Earth.
Earth was a mystery to him. The humans were well below their thinking level; they couldn’t even access the majority of their brain. But it was mainly the interaction between each other that had intrigued Zan. He wished that the same kind of emotion could be played out here, but it was impossible to think about. The Emissary did not care for that kind of emotional disturbances to disrupt their perfect worlds. Which is exactly why Zan allowed for the Agency to exist.
He had been told that the Emissary had taken his memories from his life on Earth, and if made him furious that they thought they had the power to take away something precious as memories. And a tiny little voice that sounded an awful lot like the girl in his memory told him that he would be even more mad if he only knew the memories that he was lacking.

AN: You guys are so wonderful, I love each of you! Thank you so much for liking this, the explanations are coming up soon, I promise!!
Alex Whitman turned over on his bed and stared up at the ceiling. Today would be . . . twelve years exactly. Wow. How was that for being perfect? Today was Year Twelve in what was one third heaven, one-third hell and one-third purgatory. Heaven that he could see his angel every day, hell that his friends thought he was dead and his angel didn’t even recognize him, an purgatory because . . . well, he was stuck in this place forever. Let the wondrous day begin before the trolls come to wake you up. He sat up in his bed, and sighed. He could just see Maria, Liz, and Kyle going to his grave and crying there together. His parents coming separately. He let himself imagine Isabel, Max, and Michael going there too with Maria, Liz, and Kyle, each leaning on the other, supporting one another. He sighed again. Nice dream, Whitman. Welcome to reality.
They started banging on his door. Alex checked his watch. They were early. The door slid open, and a tall girl came in carrying a tray of breakfast. “Good morning, Alex.” He smiled wearily at the girl.
“Hey, Ana. What’s up? You’re early today.” Ana smiled at him and laid his tray on the table.
“There is someone new coming here. A woman about your age, I believe. She is quite lovely.” Ana stood to the side while Alex began his breakfast of eggs, bacon, and orange juice. The Agents wanted to make sure the humans ate regular food to purify the results.
“Ana, I say it every time. Why do I have to watch? Watching another human waking up in the White Room is just evil. Granted, more could go on in there than watching someone wake up in it, but still. It’s just sitting there, seeing someone being tortured by their worst nightmare and you can't do anything to help them. Why do they insist on us being there?” Ana shook her head.
“I do not know the answers to your questions. I have my orders. My orders are to make sure you go this morning. Specifically. I believe you might have known her on Earth.” Alex’s ears picked up. He might have known her on Earth. Could it be Maria or Liz? For all he knew it could be Pam Troy. Like that would be comforting. But he definitely didn’t want Liz or Maria here going through the same torture he had been going through: the torture of seeing never his home again or his friends. The loneliness. There was no physical torture, unless you count the routine workout the humans were required to take place in. To make sure they didn’t wither away, they all had a routine they had to do three times a week. Alex did it every day to take his mind of everything.
Alex started eating again. Ana stood absolutely still. Her dark hair, dark eyes, and dark skin blazed against the dark blue jeans and pure white shirt she wore that symbolized the fact she worked at the Agency. The Agents had thought it wise to dress similar to the humans, but also to give a sense of authority. Like anyone could forget they were there.
“You must hurry. She should be awaking soon.” Ana left the tray on the table, and led Alex down to the Waiting Room. The door slid open, and he saw that he was the only patient. And all the doctors were there, ready to take notes. How strange was that! And of course, the Royal Four were there. His heart jumped in his chest. His reaction to seeing them, and recognizing them was much more restrained than the first time he had seen them, but after all these years, it still hurt him to see Max, Michael, Isabel, and Tess. And not have them recognize him as who he really was.
He bowed in their direction. Isabel smiled at him, and nodded, as did Max. Michael nodded brusquely, and Tess . . . Tess looked scared. Her face was sympathetic, and regretful. Not for the first time, he had a suspicious feeling that Tess had a slight remembrance of her past. Alex finally looked through the double sided mirror into the White Room. He couldn’t help gasping, and his heart clenched.
Liz Parker was lying in the White Room.
Alex ran up to the window and pressed his face against it. Oh my God! She’s here! What is she doing here? How did they get her? I can't believe it! Alex was ecstatic. Although Liz had been taken forcibly, no doubt, from her home and people, she was here with him! She would finally know that he was really alive and well!
“Alex, please sit down. She should be waking soon. The medicine should be wearing off quickly.” Alex sat down impatiently. Then it hit him. Liz would be waking up in the White Room. It looked exactly like the one Max had been in for those horrible days. How would she react? Well, Alex knew that one. She would flip out. But Alex knew there was nothing he could do. The pictures would come, and hell would break loose in two places. In the room he was sitting in, and in Liz’s head. The medicine that they gave her would project any thing that went on in her head that were memories, thoughts, or dreams.
The pictures started on the wall. It was a dark road, and she was running towards a bridge, clutching tightly to someone’s hand. Alex knew whose it was. They saw the story from Liz’s point of view. Which meant that they would soon see Max. Sure enough, the picture swung frantically back and forth, to either sides of the bridge. They were surrounded by cars, men with guns. Liz turned, and Max’s weary face filled the picture.
There was instant muttering in the room. Zan was sitting on the edge of his feet, fascinated with it. Volandra and Rath were stunned, and Ava . . . It was that instant that Alex knew that Ava remembered. She remember being Tess. Her face told everything.
The picture loomed over the side of the bridge into the dark water. It turned back to Max, who had a look of complete determination. It was a look that was not often seen on Antar. The muttering in the room only increased when picture showed Max leaning down and kissing her. It was a moment before they parted, Liz looking over at Max, taking a deep breath, and jumping off the bridge. The picture ended suddenly, and everyone’s stare turned to the room. She was waking up.

Oh yeah, by the way. I am a firm believer in that Alex is alive somewhere out there, I just can't give up on the poor boy, I just loved him so much! So of course Alex had to show up.

Wow, ya'll are awesome. Questions will be answered, but not neccessarily soon. But they will!
They were trapped. Cars blocking them from behind them, and cars blocking them from the other side of the bridge. There was only one way to go. She pulled Max to the side of the bridge, and looked down. The water didn’t look very deep. It didn’t matter. They would have to jump. Liz’s grip on Max tightened, and she looked up at him. Instinct made him lean down and kiss her, their last kiss if something happened to them. They both let go of each other unwillingly, and looked down at the water. It was now or never. Liz took a deep breath, and with Max, jumped over the bridge into the water.
Liz jerked awake, but didn’t open her eyes. Oh God! She was okay! She was okay! Max was okay! They were safe. Away from Pierce and Tess and Nasedo and everyone else in the world! It was okay. Liz took a deep breath. Wait. That smell. The smell of a sterile hospital, not fresh air. Where was she? Liz opened her eyes slowly. All she saw was white. She sat up slowly and looked around. A padded white room. Oh God. It was the White Room. It was exactly like the room she had seen from the flashes from Max. They had captured them. Pierce and the FBI had found them overnight and were going to torture her and Max! Where was Max? Where was he? Did they kill him? Where was he?
Liz backed up, looking frantically in circles. White wall, white wall, white ceiling, white floor, white wall. Oh God, she was going crazy ! She began to bang her fists against the walls. She had no idea where a door or even a window was, but she could try. She threw her hands flat against one part of the wall, and willed her powers to come. They did slowly, and the padding on the wall began to melt away very, very slowly. Liz concentrated with every part of her being but she knew she couldn’t conjure up enough energy to burn away the entire thing. And she knew that they would catch her. Where was Max? Where was she? What were they going to do to him? What were they going to do to her? Max!
She heard the footsteps behind the walls. They were coming for her! What were they going to do to her? Liz backed up until she was crouched in a corner of the room. The footsteps were getting louder. She covered her ears with her hands and squeezed her eyes shut. She heard the pounding of a heart, and saw the pictures Pierce had shown Max: of Michael and Isabel, of Maria and Alex, of her, and of her dead, falling to the ground. But the pictures changed, and instead of her, it was Max that was lying on the floor dead.
That’s when she began screaming.
Alex stared. The doctors and scientists were having a field day with Liz’s powers. And then there were more pictures. Old pictures. Michael standing next to a tree, his hair spiky. Isabel looking sad, her blonde hair up in a braid, of him and Maria the night of Liz’s disastrous blind date and the concert. Of Liz herself, smiling up. Then a terrible picture of Liz, falling gently down onto leaves, dead, blood poring down her face. Then it was Max, also dead, but lying on the floor of the White Room, his head rolled to the side, his eyes closed.
Liz began screaming.

Ok, I'm going to be gone for the weekend- I'm going home!!! I love college and everything, but "there's no place like home". I'll be able to check the board but unable to post, due to the fact that, well, my computer with EVERYTHING IN THE ENTIRE WORLD on it is here, at college. So I hope you enojy this part and can live with it until Sunday (when I get back). Thanks so much to everyone for the wonderful fb! I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Alex shot up out of his seat and ran to the glass window. He knew it was wrong to put her in there. She had seen Max’s memories of the White Room. It haunted her, of course! And now she was helpless, trapped inside her own nightmare. He glanced at the others in the room. All the doctors were shouting and glancing around helplessly. Max was just staring at Liz, mesmerized by her. He had recognized himself. Michael was yelling at anyone that would listen, which wasn’t anyone. Isabel was shaking horribly, her face covered in tears. Tess was white. Shocked. Everyone was in shock. They had found someone who held the key to the their past, something even Alex didn’t have. They had found Liz Parker, who held the key to Max’s heart.
“Princess Volandra?” the head doctor asked hesitantly. “What should we do? Something could ruin the process, the results could be critical-“
“What kind of man are you?” Isabel screamed at him, jumping up. “She knows things about us! Apparently she knew us when we were human! She most definitely knows Zan!” The screaming didn’t stop. Liz’s harsh screams turned into crying and shaking, her whole body trembling in fright. Volandra couldn’t stand it any longer. The poor girl.
Zan couldn’t handle the woman in there screaming. It cut his heart in two, and hurt him so much. He felt directly responsible for her torment. “She is in there suffering, and you’re worried about the results?” he yelled. “Someone has to go in there!” A small pale hand appeared on Alex’s arm. Tess.
“Alex, go in there, you’re human, she could connect with you.” Tess looked deep into Alex’s eyes, and he was positive that it was Tess talking to him and not Queen Ava. But then Isabel nodded to Ana, who ran in to assist Liz. Now that was the wrong thing to do, Alex couldn’t help thinking.
Liz didn’t hear the door open over her cries. She couldn’t help it. Her nightmare was being played before her very eyes. But when she felt the hands on her arms, she jerked away, and her eyes flew open. Instead of the kind face of a dark eyed, dark haired woman of her own age, she saw the piercing blue eyes and dark hair of a man staring evilly at her. Liz let out one scream of pure agony before scrambling along the floor, away from Pierce.
“That’s it,” Alex muttered. He turned to everyone in the room, who stared blankly at him. “I’m going in there. She used to be my best friend on Earth. I’m going in there.” No one tried to stop him.
Alex threw the door open and walked right by Ana, who was trying to get a hold of Liz. Gently pushing Ana aside, Alex knelt down in front of Liz, began rubbing her arms gently, and started speaking to her, calling her by her kid nickname. “Lizzie Bear, don’t freak out. Calm down. Nothing’s the matter. You are safe. Max is safe. Come on, Lizzie Bear. If you’re good I’ll play my guitar for you. I’ll even let you listen to my band’s new CD. Lizzie Bear. There is no such thing as destiny. There is no such thing as Tess. Max is fine. Lizzie . . .” Apparently she heard him. Liz slowly took her hands off her ears, and raised her eyes to meet his. Her jaw dropped.
“Alex?” she whispered. He grinned his goofy grin- it always made her laugh- and nodded.
“It’s me, Lizzie Bear. It’s me, Alex.” Liz stared at him one long moment before jumping into his arms, knocking him backwards.
“Oh, Alex!” she cried, still crying hysterically and her words cracking. “I thought I was in the White Room, and Pierce had captured me and Max! Where is he? You said he’s safe! Where is he?” Alex just sat there, stroking Liz’s hair and calming her down.
“He’s just fine, Liz. Don’t worry about him. It’s all right. I’m here and alive.” All of a sudden, Liz pulled away, her eyes wide and crazed.
“You- you can't be here! You’re dead! You’re dead! This is- this is just my mind! Yes. You are just a figment of my imagination. That’s a good logical explanation,” Liz babbled. Alex grabbed her arms and held her still.
“Liz. I am alive. I am not a figment of your imagination. Well, that is a good logical explanation, but it’s not the truth. I am not dead, I was never dead. I’ve been here for twelve years. I’ve always been alive. I was taken here, we’re on Antar. We’re both together, here on Antar. Liz? Do you understand?” Liz just stared at him blankly. Slowly, unsurely, she nodded and cautiously climbed back into his open arms. “I’m here, Lizzie Bear. I’m here. I’ll explain everything you. Everything. I’m here.”
The head doctor Odean was standing in the doorway, looking worried. Ana was fidgeting nervously next to him. It was the first time that Alex had seen her nervous and confused. Alex nodded at them. He was positive Liz was fine when he heard her start to cry and cling to him. Yep, she would be just fine.
“Zan,” Volandra said to him quietly. He glanced at her, silencing her. His look clearly said later.
“We’re going now. We will back later to speak with her. When she is better. Send Alex over to our private quarters when he gets her back to sleep. Do not put her back into the White Room. Get her out of there.”
Zan settled back into his seat. The woman would be all right, he had a feeling that she would. He was more than startled at her reaction. Elizabeth Evans was reacting in a way he had never seen before. He made a mental note to discuss her with Odean later on, when he knew more about her. This woman made him curious. He had his own private questions he wouldn’t share with anyone. He wanted to know why he was starting to feel human emotions for this woman when he, King Zan of Antar, had no human in him.

Hey guys. I'm so sorry that I havent updated this yet, I really want to but Alex and Liz are arguing with me. THey're not happy with the next chapter, but I think we've finally reached a compromise. That, and also this is the last week of Pledge Week, and I have a psych test due Friday and a speech project due friday, so I havent had much time to work with it. So I promise that I will have the next part up very soon (and it's one of the ones that you're waiting for).

Part Six (Which Alex Explains Most of Everything)
“I don’t understand,” Liz said finally, her hands shaking. “I’m so confused. How did you get here?” Alex smiled. She had finally decided to talk. It had been three hours since Liz had been brought to the White Room. In the time that had passed, she had not left Alex’s arms. She clung to him like a weak child, in which she was. He knew it would take her a while to get used to the fact that he was still alive. He pulled her over into his arms, where she cuddled up next to him. For a moment, he felt like he was back on her balcony like they used to be. Except they were in his room at the Agency, with dark blue walls, no windows, a computer that surpassed any human’s comprehension and ability, a desk, and a bed. Not much else. Still, it was better than the White Room.
“That year, Tess did mind warp me into thinking I went to Sweden. It was part of the major plan. She had no choice to what she did. We all were in their plan, they being the Emissary. They needed a human that was close to the Royal Four, and for some reason, they felt I should be the one. You were too attached and in love with Max and Maria and Michael were too close for them also, and Kyle just wasn’t a ‘good choice’. They didn’t think it would be fair to you to bring you or Maria here because they knew the Emissary would take away their memories. They do have hearts, I found out. So she mind warped me. I went to Las Cruses thinking I was somebody else. You know all about that.
“What you don’t know is that Tess didn’t kill me. The mind warp did weaken me, but not very much. I was physically fine. Right before my 'death', they came to me, and told me about what was going on. They staged everything surrounding my death, and I was brought here. I’m still not exactly sure how I was brought here, but I was. I was here two months, and then I heard that they were here too. I had a scheduled meeting with them, and I was ecstatic because I missed Isabel so much, as well as the rest of them. Even Tess, because I knew what she had done and she wasn’t evil.“ Here Alex snorted.
“I was so convinced that they had been told what had really happened to me. I thought that they knew that I wasn’t dead. I knew what had happened on Earth, I’m not stupid. I figured it out, and then they finally told me. I was so pissed, because you thought I was dead. Everyone did. So I thought that they knew I wasn’t dead, I was here. The Emissary had totally overlooked my relationship with Isabel, what little there was. They had never given me any indication that they wouldn’t know the truth or what had happened. Anyways, so when I went into that meeting room, I knew that something was different. Max was sitting too straight. Michael was too calm. Isabel and Tess seemed the same, total Ice Princesses. It took me not two minutes before I realized what had happened. The Emissary took away their memories of Earth and their first seventeen years of their lives.” Liz’s eyes widened, and for the first time, she moved away from Alex. She stood up and walked to the other side of the room.
“How did they take away their memories?” she asked slowly, having several images in her head of the torture. Alex looked at her quite seriously.
“Are you sure you want to know?” he questioned. Liz nodded. Alex took a deep breath. “They brought them into a room, and explained that to gather their memories from their past lives, they had to give up their memories from their live on Earth. It was also felt that it would help them adjust to life on Antar, away from the connections on Earth. Tess went right along with it. Isabel thought about it for about a day, and then agreed. I believe she still thought I was dead, and had no more fond memories of Earth, and agreed only so she would forget about me permanently. Michael and Max, though . . .”
“They refused,” Liz said suddenly, staring at the wall which coincidentally was the hidden mirror. “They had to force them.” Alex knew that Odean and Ana were definitely back there listening and watching them, and it was very possible that so were Max, Isabel, Michael, and Tess. Liz was looking straight into someone’s eyes back there, and it could be anybody. But he wasn’t holding anything back.
“How did you know?” Alex asked, surprised. She turned slightly, and there was sadness in her eyes. “Lemme guess: you just did.” There was a small smile on her face. “Well, yeah. They had to force them. Max had to be held down and tied. The people actually doing the Memory Swipes had to come to him instead of him going into the room where they were. He refused. He said he would rather have his memories of you than the memories of his original life. He kept screaming your name, and calling out to you. He wanted you there in what were emotionally his last moments as Max Evans. He called for you.” Liz didn’t notice the tears that were running down her face. Max had called for her. He had wanted her until the end. But he still had left. He still left her.
“Liz, are you okay?” he asked softly, not wanting to disturb her. He knew she was crying, but he didn’t acknowledge it.
“Go on,” she said. “I want to hear the rest of it.” Alex sighed. She would share later.
“This project is Isabel’s baby. She heads it. But it was started before she came here. I was the Agency’s first patient. Their first victim. Like I said, they were changed before they knew I was here. The Emissary did it on purpose. They didn’t tell them that I was here, that I was alive. They knew that they wouldn’t have their memories stolen if they knew, especially Isabel. The Emissary looked at their life on Earth as completely meaningless. The only point for them living there at all was to hide them; Earth shielded them from Khivar for those years. And I believe you owe me an explanation too, Lizzie. For instance, why your last name is now Evans?”

Hey guys! Ok, before you kill me, I know it's been a LONG TIME since I've posted, and I'm really sorry about that. I had the next part ready when someone said something about Max's point of view, so that got me to thinking, so I had to go write in a part of max's point of view, and its taking me a long time, but I'm working on it right now, and will have it done soon. I'm staying here at college for the weekend and will be rearranging the room (debunking the bunk beds is not an easy task), so hopefully I can have it up by tomorrow night. Cross your fingers! I apologize for not saying anyhting sooner, yeah, I'm terrible! I feel so bad!!!!!! But it's coming!!!!

Big Note: This is kinda hard to read. Alex will be talking, and Zan likes to throw in his little thoughts every now and then, I hope no one gets too confused.
Love to all
Zan made his way down the hallway quickly. He was eager to see Elizabeth again. The White Room experience was permanently etched in his brain, and he was impatient to see her and ask about her visions. The visions. The images plastered in his mind were tormenting him. Why was he kissing her? Why were they running? Who were they running from? Who were they scared of enough to jump off a bridge? He had clearly seen the pictures of him, Rath, and Volandra. None of Ava, which was strange. He knew that he had grown up with Rath, Volandra, and Ava as a group, struggling with their differences in a protective, safe environment with no contact with humans, watched over carefully by loyal fighters. He couldn’t imagine how he had gotten in contact with Elizabeth. By what he had been told about his life on Earth, contact with humans had been little and restricted. From the images in Elizabeth’s head, it looked like he had had strong feelings for her. Something wasn’t right.
Zan knocked lightly on the door before entering. Odean nodded up at him and stood. “Your Majesty, you came just in time. They just started talking.” Zan sat down right in front of the mirror. Alex had Elizabeth in his lap, and she was trembling slightly. Alex was muttering to her while stroking her hair. In an earlier conference with Alex today, he had found out that Alex and Elizabeth had been the best of friends while Alex was on Earth. Zan was relieved that Elizabeth had a familiar face to comfort her while she was here. Because it was very obvious to everyone that Elizabeth was terrified of something. Zan himself was scared of her sometimes.
Odean avoided his king’s eyes. He had been instructed by the Emissary not to let the royals know anything about their past on Earth. And this human female could answer all the questions that the royals had and didn’t have about their life before the age of seventeen. But there was nothing that he could do now. His Majesty would hear everything now.
Alex began to speak, and Zan sat on the edge of his seat, eager to hear everything.
“That year, Tess did mind warp me into thinking I went to Sweden. It was part of the major plan. She had no choice to what she did. We all were in their plan, they being the Emissary.” Zan looked over Odean, who did not return the look. Zan knew that the Emissary would do anything to get their way, but involve humans in their master plans? It was wrong. And who was Tess and how did the humans know that one of her powers?
“They needed a human that was close to the Royal Four, and for some reason, they felt I should be the one. You were too attached and in love with Max and Maria and Michael were too close for them also, and Kyle just wasn’t a ‘good choice’.” His ears perked up at the name of Max. It was familiar. It rolled around in his head for a moment before he remembered that Max was the name of Liz’s husband. “They didn’t think it would be fair to you to bring you or Maria here because they knew the Emissary would take away their memories. They do have hearts, I found out.” Zan rolled his eyes. The Emissary do not have hearts at all. “So she mind warped me. I went to Las Cruses thinking I was somebody else. You know all about that.” Las Cruces? What was Las Cruces?
“What you don’t know is that Tess didn’t kill me. The mind warp did weaken me, but not very much. I was physically fine. Right before my ‘death’, they came to me, and told me about what was going on. They staged everything surrounding my death, and I was brought here. I’m still not exactly sure how I was brought here, but I was. I was here two months, and then I heard that they were here too.” Zan knew at those words that “they” were him, Volandra, Rath, and Ava. Just how they all fit in the puzzle, he wasn’t quite sure. “I had a scheduled meeting with them, and I was ecstatic because I missed Isabel so much, as well as the rest of them. Even Tess, because I knew what she had done and she wasn’t evil.“ Alex made a funny snorting sound that Max had never heard him make before; for him, it was a sound that Volandra made many a times when she was particularly annoyed with him, which was quite often. But as for the rest of the story, Zan couldn’t move or even think. He just listened to Alex talk in a tone of voice that Zan never thought possible. So full of hatred and envy and sadness.
“I was so convinced that they had been told what had really happened to me. I thought that they knew that I wasn’t dead. I knew what had happened on Earth, I’m not stupid. I figured it out, and then they finally told me. I was so pissed, because everyone on Earth thought I was dead. The Emissary took away their memories of Earth and their first seventeen years of their lives.”
At this, Elizabeth Evans stood up from Alex’s grasp and walked around the room. Zan backed away slightly as she made her way to the mirror that she didn’t know was there. She looked at the wall- no, she looked through the wall almost, like she was looking for him.
“How did they take away their memories?” Elizabeth Evans asked slowly, her eyes moving frantically. Searching for something. For his eyes.
“Are you sure you want to know?” Alex asked, like he didn’t want to tell her. Zan was listening closely; they were talking about them, he was sure. And he was about to find out the truth of how the Emissary took away their memories. Elizabeth nodded. Alex’s tone was once more of anger.
Michael and Max, though . . .”
“They refused.” Zan jumped in his seat, startled. Elizabeth was now staring directly into Zan’s eyes, like she could see him. Unmoving, they were dark with anger. Much like Alex’s voice. “They had to force them.”
“How did you know?” Alex’s eyes flickered at the mirror. Zan knew that Alex knew of the mirror but he didn’t care. All he cared about was why this female human was staring straight at him in a mirror that she didn’t know about. Elizabeth smiled slightly at the blank wall that she saw, a smile that went straight to Zan’s heart. She turned, and Zan couldn’t see her anymore.
“Lemme guess: you just did.” Zan wanted to know what that meant. Alex smiled a bit, like it was an inside joke between him and Elizabeth. And while he did not quite understand how Elizabeth would just know something that obscure, it bothered him more than she stared at him through a mirror that she didn’t know was there.
He called for you.” Zan was entranced, there was a spark of memory in this. And he could almost remember it. Did that mean he was this Max? He was Elizabeth’s husband?
“Liz, are you okay?” Alex asked quietly. Zan could feel her sobs deep down in his soul. Elizabeth Evans took a deep breath.
“Go on. I want to hear the rest of it.” Alex looked like he was going to stop at the story, but continued.
“This project is Isabel’s baby. She heads it.” Isabel must be Volandra. “But it was started before she came here. I was the Agency’s first patient. Their first victim.” Zan was shocked. He had never known that Alex had been the first human in the Agency. Sure, one of the first, but not the first.
“Like I said, they were changed before they knew I was here. The Emissary did it on purpose.” Alex’s voice got dark again. Anger was pouring out. “They didn’t tell them that I was here, that I was alive. They knew that they wouldn’t have their memories stolen if they knew, especially Isabel. The Emissary looked at their life on Earth as completely meaningless. The only point for them living there at all was to hide them; Earth shielded them from Khivar for those years.” Zan sat back in his chair, his hands folding. He was part of the Royals. He was Max. Tess was Ava. Volandra was Isabel, and that left Rath with the Michael. They had cared about humans. He had cared about Elizabeth Evans.
Alex looked up at Elizabeth Evans with a much lighter look now, with a small smile on his face. “And I believe you owe me an explanation too, Lizzie. For instance, why your last name is now Evans?”
Please don't hate me!! I will get things explained soon, as soon as I figure everything out!

Hey darlings! First off, I am so sorry that I haven't posted lately. I didnt even realize how long it had been. I apologize. I should have written a lot more than I have over Christmas break, but I've been working my butt off and haven't even gotten to read all that I usually do. I've fallen behind on my reading and writing. Well, I move back in Sunday, and get back to Internet connection 24/7 (I love college for that one reason- better Internet connection than at home), so maybe I will update soon. I'm triyng to finish that next part, but it's giving me so much trouble. I had the story worked up and then I realized that no! I didnt want it to happen like that, so I had to change a lot of things and then just had to rewrite it.... So please, dolls, hold on to my precious little story. It will come to an end.
Merry Christmas, Happy Birthdays for the Christmas/New Year's Babies, like myself, and Happy New Year to all
