Summary: I’m not gonna tell. Cuz then you might not want to read it. So just read
it and then tell me what you think.

Prologue

She couldn’t let it happen again. The first time was bad, just bad. Don’t get her wrong, she had liked it. No not just liked, LOVED. The BEST SEX she had ever encountered, but she would never tell him that. Along with not telling anyone else in the world. She was going to have to keep her distance. She could never let it
happen again. EVER!

What had happened in that room. First she was standing there, alone, and the next thing she knew she was being pinned against the wall by him. She didn’t even know
who it was until she opened her eyes to see him. She had been surprised, caught off guard, and totally scared shitless at first. Then she experienced non other than
the most outrageous amount of lust and passion she knew she shouldn’t be experiencing. Especially with him. The one person she, Liz Parker, wasn’t suppose to touch. Not even think of as a possibility for having sex with.

Not only was she not to have sex with him, but on top of that she was going to be talking to him, seeing him, and mingling with him for the rest of her life because
he, Max Evan’s, was marrying Angela Parker, her sister.

Well, if you like it leave feedback please. I don't want to keep writing something people aren't reading. (phyco352)

Chapter 1

Well, if she was going to tell the story she might as well start at the beginning.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

“Angie, I can’t believe your getting married!!!!!!” Liz said flabbergasted sitting here in one of the most expensive restaurants. How could Angie get married. Liz never
thought anyone would be able to tie her down with marriage But she guessed Angie really was in Love. WOW never in her life did she think she would be saying that.
Especially towards Angie. Her older sister. Well, only by 2 minutes. Yep her and Angie were twins, paternal. They looked alike, but if you really knew them personally you knew that what they shared on the outside was what they didn’t share on the inside. Only real close friends and family could tell them apart.

“I know Lizzie!!! Can you believe it, me getting married. I know your asking yourself, What lucky son of a bitch is getting the privilege of marrying me.” Angie said with much excitement. Although she herself couldn’t believe she, Angela Marie Parker the party girl, was getting married. But she was getting old in years, 27, and she always did want to get married and have a family. This was probably going to be her only chance at getting married and having that family. So she deiced to say yes to Max. Don’t get her wrong she did Love him, but she expected it to be that love that when they touched you it would send shivers down her spine. But she guessed that would come in years to come.

“Damn It Angie. You know I hate it when you swear.” Liz said as she began to laugh. “But please do tell. How did you of all people get tied down.”

“I don’t know dear sister, but I guess when you know you know.” Angie said, with little to no enthusiasm.

“Son, Angie tell me, what does it feel to be in Love? Does you heart race when he touches you? Wait I don’t even know what his name is, or what he looks like, age.
Hey I don’t know anything about your guy. Why didn’t you ever tell me anything about him or this.” Liz said while she took Angie’s hand up for her to see the engagement ring again. “I mean come on sis, I bet it’s not only me, but isn’t this a little sudden.” Liz said hoping not to piss her sister off. But hey it was a little, no not a little extremely sudden. And she did feel hurt. She always thought she was her closest sister, and that wasn’t because she was her only one.

“Aaahhhhh come on Liz don’t be mad. It was just because I didn’t want to you know ruin it. It was so....I don’t know. Anyways you can forgive me later cuz here he comes.”

“Huh..........what!!!!!!!!!! You didn’t tell me he was coming.” Liz asked as she turned around to look at the most handsome man she had ever seen coming over to her. She turned around fast and watched Angie get up and bring someone over. It was him kissing Angie.

“Hey babe, I want you to meet my sister........”

“Max Evans” Max, said as he turned around to look at.....huh wait wasn’t that Angie. Before Angie got a chance to finish.

The look on his face said it all. He didn’t know. How could she not of told him. “Ummm Hi, I’m Liz....Parker. The look on your face tells me that Angie didn’t tell
you that her sister and her are fraternal twins.....right.” Liz said a little out of breath. She didn’t know when she had begun to hold her breath, but just now noticed she had been. She stuck out her hand. Oh nooooo bad idea, Liz thought as her hand met his. Then she became aware of the shiver running down her back at the contact. She had never experienced anything so.....unbelievably hot.

Chapter 2

Max was meeting his fiance and her sister, which by the way had never met before, at.....Oh crap what was the name of that place. Oh well at least he still remembered
the directions. Left, right two blocks...Ahhhh that must be it.

He got out of his car and hoped to god his baby didn’t get crashed. Stupid teenagers. Why was it that the most expensive restaurants had teenagers do the dirty work. Damn them all to hell.

Well, this was it. Finally the first great meeting with someone in the family. Her family. Sirens were going off in his head. What the hell had he gotten himself into. Not that he was complaining, he did love Angela, but he wasn’t sure if she was “The ONE”. He couldn’t back down now. It was too late, he had already proposed and was sure that Angela and her family, soon to be his, had started the preparations on the wedding. WOW. Max was now finally getting the meaning of wedding. Forever.
That’s what that meant.

And anyways what was her sisters name. Max didn’t really feel like making an ass of himself while meeting “the family” for the first time. What was her name....ahh yes Liz.

Steeping into the restaurant he began to wonder what her family would think of him. Would they like him or hate him. Angela had already met with his parents and they had loved her, but still they wondered how they became engaged. They thought Angela was a great person, but for their son they wanted something different. That’s what they kept telling him. Something different.

Max also wondered how he had popped the question to Angela. She was beautiful and, well, had an ass to die for (Hey don’t look at me that way “I’m a Guy”). Angela
was so much more different that he was. She liked to be the center of attention, party animal. While he was a melo person. Didn’t like to go out very often and instead of a wild party he preferred to stay at home and watch a movie.

He always thought of himself asking the question to someone.....well like him. Not as wild as Angela, but knew when to act like a person. Max always thought that
Angela sometimes had this act going on. It bothered him that she still didn’t trust him enough to show him who she really was. But he guessed that once they were
married she would quit with the act and just be herself.

Max made his was to the restaurant consier.

“Excuse me , but I’m wondering if my girlfrie....fiance had arrived yet?” Max asked, still struggling with the fact that Angela was no longer his girlfriend, but soon to be
wife.

“Ah yes sir. Your fiance has arrived and is waiting for you. Please sir if you will just follow me.” The consier said as he ushered Max further into the restaurant.

“Thank you for your help but I see her from here.” Max hurried to say as he made his was to Angela, and sister. He began wondering why all of a sudden he felt this
sudden urge to meet this Liz as soon as possible. That he would be blown away by her, but that was impossible. He couldn’t be, probably just the nerves his mind thought.

As he got closer he heard Angela say “ You can forgive me later cuz here he comes.” Forgive her for what. Then came the surprised voice of what he thought was probably the sister. “....you didn’t tell me he was coming.”

Max then saw the brunet opposite of Angela slowly turn around and look straight at him. Then as quickly as their eyes locked she turned around, fast. WAIT did he just
see a second Angela. No. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. Probably just the resemblance. They are sisters.

“Hey babe I would like you to meet my sister....”

“Max Evans” He said as her turned around to finally meet this brunet stranger. What he saw make him do a double take. Wait he hadn’t seen things she did have Angela’s face. Or was it the other way around.

“Liz Parker” she said a little out of breath and stuck out her hand.

Max soon realized what she was doing and did the same. Stuck out his hand to meet hers. Then it happened. Something he never thought he would experience. When he first made contact with her hand did he realize the shiver running down his back. And bow that simple touch make the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end. WOW.

“I take it by the look on your face that Angie here didn’t tell you we were um....how do you say twins. Well, fraternal twins.” Liz said wondering why he still hadn’t let go of her hand. Not that Liz was minding. No she didn’t mind one bit the way she was feeling right this second. In fact she liked it. A lot.

“Umm no Angela did not mention anything about this.” He said. Realizing he hadn’t let go of her hand and it was making her uncomfortable.

Angela noticed how her sister and soon to be husband acted. Wondering why they were looking at each other like that. Must be my imagination. “Oh come on guys I thought it would be a tad bit exciting if I didn’t mention a thing. Look at you too. You hun look like you’ve seen a ghost and sis it looks like your about to faint. I couldn’t deprive myself of this.” Angela said while begging to laugh.

The lunch went off without a hitch. Max learning new things about Angela from Liz and some other things about Liz. Things that he found interesting about his fiancé’s sister.

‘Why didn’t I meet you before this happened.’ Wait were the hell did that come from, thought..........

I don’t really like this part, but I hope you do. Well, I like it a little. Please leave feedback.

Chapter 3

It had been a week since the encounter and she was still dreaming about him. She still felt the way his hand felt with hers. Still remembered the way he had looked at her. The way the had so much in common. But it was wrong for her to think like this. She didn’t have the right to even remember the things she did or dream about him the way she did. The way she had woken up every night with sweat covering her body, heart pounding, and so aroused she had to take a cold shower every night right after she woke up sometimes in the wee hours of the morning. It was the first time in a long time that she hadn’t had a decent nights sleep, and it usually was because she had company staying with her......in bed. Now all she wanted not to do was sleep and have his deep amber eyes haunt her throughout the night. Well, until she woke up and had to take a shower.

Liz was thrown our of her thoughts at the sound of Maria’s voice yelling from below.

“Liz!!!”

“Up here Maria.” Maria and Liz had met during college. Both majoring in architecture. Both of them had started out with nothing more than building blocks when they were little girls and ended with both of them going to Berkley and study in there Architecture program. That’s where they met and then became room mates for the rest of college. It was great, and became best friends. Then they became room mates after and began there own architecture office. They were becoming quite popular. Especially since one of the biggest company in Los Angeles had asked their office to create one of the most spectacular malls in L.A. It was great.

“Damn it why can’t you call out faster. I’ve been calling your name for the last 5 minutes! I was about to tell your sister, who by the way is on the phone, you weren’t home!!” Maria yelled a little our of breath as she was running up the stairs.

“Crap!!!!!!!!!!!!” Liz said as she reached for the phone.

“Hey Angie........um.......what do you want?” Liz said a little nervous.

“Well, Liz the way you haven’t been returning my calls I’d say you’ve been avoiding me.” Angela said trying to hide the humor in her voice.

“Look Angie I haven’t been avoiding I’ve been really busy and........” Liz began but couldn’t finish since she heard the laughter of her twin on the other end of the phone.

“I don’t believe you just fell for that. Come on Lizzie I know how busy you become sometimes that’s why I didn’t worry to much when you didn’t return my calls. I was just trying to see how it would hold up. You know the joke. Any ways I just wanted to ask when you and Maria would like to come with me to find you guys perfect brides maid dresses? We also need to find me a wedding dress. It better be some day soon like today or tomorrow. I need to know when were going to go so I can get the easy stuff out of the way. I also need your help as well as Maria’s with the rest of the wedding plans. I can’t believe how much crap needs to be done for just one day.” Angie waited for some minutes for Liz to answer her questions, but after those minutes she still hadn’t received an answer. “............umm Liz.........are you still there?” Angela asked a little worried.

“Ummm yeah still here....wait can you hold on I’m just going to ask Maria what you just asked me.” Liz answered still stuck on the avoiding me part of the conversation she was having with Angie. Well, more like had and was now over with.

“Maria, Angie wanted to know when we would be able to go with her to pick the brides maid dresses for the wedding. She also wants us to help her find her wedding dress. She said we should do it ASAP. Maybe today or tomorrow.”

“She wants me to be a brides maid. Oh I’m so happy.” Maria answered sarcastically then began falling to the ground in a fit of giggles. “Yeah today would be great I have way to many things to do tomorrow and the rest of the week so today would be the only day I can do it.” Maria said in between her fit of giggles. She knew even before they knew Angie was getting married that they would be each others brides maids. Ever since Maria had met Liz during college their families had also become quite close. So Liz, Maria, and Angie had made a pact to be each others brides maid for their weddings. They knew it was a stupid pact to make, especially since they were so old, but they made it any ways.

“Maria you’re such an idiot!!!!” Liz said as she was also coming down with the giggles Maria had oh so graciously started.

“Liz stop it and tell Maria to stop it to it’s not funny!!” Angie said. Trying her hardest to keep the laughter from her voice. “So do you want us to pick you up or do you want to meet us there.”

“Well meet you there. Wait where is there and who is we?” Liz said hoping it wasn’t what she was thinking. ‘No he can’t be coming please don’t let it him be part of the we she’s talking about.’

“Oh yeah almost forgot to tell you that Max and some friends of his are coming with us they also want to get there tuxedos too. You know so they don’t wait ‘till the last second to get them. I mean they are men and probably would wait until the last possible second to get them.”

“Oh” Was all Liz could get herself to say. ‘Damn it why couldn’t they go alone or have them go some other day.’

“So Liz we’ll meet you at......”

“You know Angie we could just go online or do some magazine searching for dresses. I mean we really don’t have to go out. That way.....Max and his friends won’t ....um.....feel like I don’t know weird.” Liz rambled on hoping to get her sister agree with whatever she had just said.

“Liz, no, I want us to all go out and together find it in one of the wedding boutiques in L.A. and I know your going to say we can look for some shop’s here in L.A. on the net but I want you guys to try some of the dresses out as well as me. You know what they say about the Internet nothing is really what it seems.”

“Fine Angie. Oh and by the way since we don’t know where exactly were going to look or find your dress you guys might as well come pick us up.” Liz said hesitantly. She still couldn’t believe that not only had she not gotten her sister to agree with her, but her sister had made her say yes to her and.......Max come pick her up.

“OK. See you in a bit Liz”

“........Bye.” Liz said after she had heard her sister hang up the phone.

“Liz what are we going to do. Where are we going to meet them?”

“Ummmm......no their going to come and pick us up. They should be here in about a half an hour.” Liz said with no enthusiasm.

“Whoa now don’t you jump out the window in happiness!”

“Shut up Maria!!” Liz said as she led Maria out of her room and started thinking of what to do when they arrived. Should she fake getting sick. ‘No that wont work she’s going to here in a half an hour.’ Maybe she could run out her window and die or maybe just run down the stairs and casually trip on accident and hope she broke a leg. OK now she was getting a little carried away. She never acted this way over some guy. She couldn’t let this stupid little feeling for some guy, ‘OK not some guy her sisters fiancee”, ruin her or for that matter ruin what her sister felt for this guy. She had to do this for her sister.

With that in mind she got ready for her second meeting with the man that had been haunting her dreams for the past week.

Chapter 4

All he needed to do was play it safe. Not look, touch, or speak to her. ‘Just leave her alone. Stay our of her way and you’ll be fine.’ Max thought as he tried to listen to Angela give him directions to Liz’s house. He had just found out that they were going to go pick Liz up and take her with them, as well as some other friend. Some Maria. He wanted to say no, but then what kind of explanation would he give Angela for not wanting them to go. ‘Sorry Angela I don’t mind if Liz’s friend goes, but I have a problem with Liz.” Damn it!!!! What was wrong with him?

For some reason he hadn’t been able to get Liz our of his head all week, and he knew that this second meeting wasn’t going to help him get her our of there. He just didn’t understand what his problem was.

Well, actually he did have an answer to that.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

The day after his meeting with Liz.

“But I still don’t understand why you want me handling this sir. Well, us? I’m a lawyer I don’t know the first thing about buildings, and not because I don't want to do this, but I feel your putting this projects in the wrong persons hands.” Max said with worry. Hoping he didn’t get fired for being an ass to his boss.

“Ok, Max, the real reason me as well as the rest of the partners want you to do this is because we want you to have your own office building. We want you as well as Michael to become partners. You guys are great lawyers so we want both of you to join us in being part of this firm. So you see, technically, your not doing this on your own. Since it is going to be Michael’s as well as your building we think you should take care of it.” Mr. Cole said with much acceptance towards the new young partners. He knew that this new adding to the firm was a good move. They were both great lawyers in their own way. He liked the differences in both their styles. That’s how he knew that putting them together was a great idea.

“WOW...um Mr. Cole I.....we don’t know what to say.” Max said surprised. Then he had first heard what Mr. Cole wanted him to do was his way, or better yet the firms way, of saying we don’t like the way you work so just quit or stay and due stupid jobs. Now he was as happy as he had ever been. ‘.....A partner.....’ Max thought then noticed that Michael was still sitting there in the chair, and hadn’t said a word. So Max patted Michael on the back, hard. Trying to see if that would get him to say something.

“Huh....” Michael couldn’t believe what they were saying. Him and Max had gone to Law School together and had been picked up right away by the most known firm in LA, SJS Attorney's at Law. He always thought that Max deserved to be here. That with choosing Max they had done well. But him, Michael Guerin, be chosen from out of so many others always made him wonder. Why had then chosen him? Now they were giving him a partner position in the firm. And not just any firm one of the most prestigious firms in the LA. WOW. The firm actually appreciated his work. Now he knew that they had chosen him because they wanted him. Because he was one of the best. They liked him. They really liked him.(LOL)

“Well, I’m hoping that you chose to stay with us and become a bigger part of this family. If you do which I hope. From now on you don’t call me Mr. Cole, but Brad. Remember I’m no longer your boss so I can’t really tell you guys what to say. Oh and don’t drag the firm to the ground. Please........” Brad(Mr. Cole) said whilen begging to chuckle.

“OF course we’ll accept.” Said Max for the both of them. Since Michael’s toung still seemed to be bitten of by a mouse. You don’t have to worry about anything Mr. Co.....I mean Brad. So any ways when do we get started with our new office.” Max said while pointing between himself and Michael. “I mean do you want us to find someone to do it and where or are you-” Max babbled on as Brad stopped him.

“Oh don’t worry about it we already have where and who we just want you to approve the plans. Because it is of course going to be your office.” Brad said and began leaving, but was stopped by the sound of Michael’s voice.

“So...um...Brad...who exactly is the who that is going to work on this project.” Michael finally choked out. His first words in a while.

“Of course you want to know who exactly is going to help you two out on this project. Well, I’m pretty sure you guys have heard of them, but I’ll tell you any ways. It’s P&D Architecture. You two are going to be working with the best. We want the best for the best.” Brad finished as he walked out.

“Geezzz Max I’ve heard about them. Supposedly their great at what they do.” Michael had just realized that Max hadn’t said a word since Brad had left. “Max? Max?........You okay buddy...” Michael repeated as he began to worry about his long time friend.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Max still remembered how long it took him to regain his composure after he had learned that P&D Architecture was the company the firm was hiring for the building of their office. Still remembered how off balance he felt when he realized that P&D was Liz’s business. Liz and that friend that lived with her, Maria was it. They had talked about P&D during their lunch meeting.

Before he knew that P&D was Liz company he had always wondered what kind of people were behind the up and coming P&D. Some of his clients were top business associates in LA and had seen from them the types of buildings the company made. He had always thought the designs were quite ingenious. Always wondered what kind of people could come up with designs so...so...outstanding. Now that he was going to work with them instead of feeling excited of working with the company, more importantly Liz. He felt nervous. Max had learned a lot about Liz and about this so called P&D during their lunch meeting. With her company working with him on his project he hoped he could learn other things about her. He was pulled from his thoughts at the sound of Angela’s voice...........

“Max you missed Liz’s drive way?”

“......Sorry....” Max stated. As he began to wonder how he hadn’t crashed into something seeming as he was so far away from paying attention to the road. He then turned the car around and parked in Liz’s drive way. ‘Nice house.’ Max thought. ‘She’s an architect stupid. Why wouldn’t she have a nice house.’

“Come on Max, their probably still getting ready.”

“Um....no I’ll just wait out here for you-”

“NO WAY Max. You have to come inside. If I know my sister and Maria you’ll end up waiting for ages.” Angela interrupted.

“If I’m going to wait so long, why don’t I just leave and you can meet us there.” Max said, hoping she would take the bait. He really didn’t want to go in there. Well, he found out soon enough, as he saw Angela come around to his side of the car open the door and drag him out.

“Like I said Max your coming in with me.” Angela said. As she dragged Max to the front door, and opened it with the key Liz had given her.

“Maybe we should knock.” Max said hesitantly.

“Max she gave me the key. Why wouldn’t I use it?”

As they made their way inside they heard someone yelp. They both turned their heads towards it, and both saw a woman in her underwear covering her breasts with her arms. The woman was..............

Chapter 5

“On no you don’t Angela!!” Liz yelled towards her sister. “There is no way in hell you're going to make me do that. It’s wrong and you know it. How could you even think of a thing as stupid as that. I mean, we are twins and everything and we have done things like this before, but this is just ridiculous. I have seen you come up with some of the stupidest ideas in the whole universe, but this hair brain scheme is just.... I can’t even come up with a word for it.”

“Come on Liz. I really want to know what Max thinks about them.” Angela begged, practically down on her knees pleading, her sister to do this for her.

‘No, no no no no no was the only thing going through Liz’ mind. How could her sister ask her to do something so......so.....out there.

“Liz, all you have to do is put these on go out there show it to them. All I need is to get their opinions. That’s it!!!”

“No Angela that’s not all you’re asking from me. I’ve already made a complete fool of myself in front of your fiance. I am not going to make an even bigger fool of myself in front of him. Not only would I be making an ass in front of him once more, but in front of his friends and his sister.” Liz said as she remembered the incident at the house.

~*~*~*~*~*

“AHHHHHHH” Liz screamed as she ran up the stairs. Trying her hardest not to show something that her sisters fiance shouldn’t see. All the while trying her darndest not to let what she was thinking really seep into her train of thought. She really didn’t want to think about what Max thought of her now.

Who know that going into her basement laundry room would cause so much trouble. All she wanted to do was find something decent to wear. Now she realized her mistake. Liz knew that Angie would pull something. How could she of forgotten that she had given her a key. Now Max got a view of something he never should of seen. Well, maybe might of seen later in life when he married Angie, but not from her. She wasn’t the one getting married to him, and now she had almost showed all of her assets.

“Liz what happened to you?????” Maria said, as the realization of her friend running into her hit her. It didn’t bother her that she was naked. They had shared a living space for close to 8 years, and the whole naked thing had gotten old fast. Especially since they were best friends. Okay. The naked thing did bother her a tad and that was only because she had heard Liz scream, and now here she was taking in air a little fast because of running up the stairs she guessed.

“I know what you’re going to say, Maria. NOoooo I. Am. Not. Naked.” Liz said putting a little umfff at the end of each word to emphasize what she was saying. “Not really, any ways.” She ended. Trying to pass Maria and run into her bedroom. Which she eventually did, but not before Maria making it through the door before she shut it.

“Liz what the hell was that. I hear you scream and thought something was happening to you. Rape or we were being robed or something.” Maria babbled, as she watched Liz throw clothes around her room. Trying to find something to wear she guessed.

“Maria you’re babbling, and no nothing like that happened......I just went downstairs to try and find something to wear in the laundry. I didn’t find anything so I was coming back up stairs and settle for something in here. When I heard the door open. You should know what comes next....” Liz trailed, as she found her robe, then watched Maria’s face trying to figure out what she had left out of her explanation.

Both Liz and Maria were startled out of their thoughts as someone knocked on the door of Liz’ bedroom. With both still staring at the door, and neither making a move to open it, the door opened all on its own in the next second. Both girls finding Angela on the other side, laughing it up.

“Oh.....my...gosh.....Liz.....that was....the....funniest things ever!!!!!” Angela raved between laughter. For some odd reason she couldn’t stop.

“Shut up Angie, and don’t even dare telling her.” Liz yelled at her sister. All the while still trying to find something to wear.

“No you don’t. Now you have to tell me.” Maria squealed, as she now found it all the more important to find out what Liz had left out. “It’s Angie’s responsibility for telling me, seeing as you wont due it.”

“Well, Max and I were making our way through the front door, right. Our little Lizzie over there was coming from I don’t know where. The kitchen or someplace, but NAKED. You should of seen her face. It was priceless.” Angela finished as another laugh attack hit her.

“Oh my fucking Gosh.....Liz.” Maria yelled before she too was pulled under a fit of laughter.

“Damn it Angie. Cant you ever listen to me.” Liz yelled at her sister.

“Come on Liz it’s not like anything that bad happened.....” Angie returned still trying to hold in the laughter. “Max is going to see that eventually.....” Angie said while pointing at Liz. By the time she finished she as well as Maria were doubled over raging with laughter.

“You guys...Just Shut Up. Oh and Angie I am sooooo not going with you to find dresses. Not if Max is going. I am sooooo embarrassed. There is no way I’m going to go anywhere with you or him today. Nope not gonna happen. Maybe some other time.” Liz explained, still trying to find clothes to wear.

“Oh Hell nooo..... I know you Lizzie sometimes you get really caught up in work, and this is probably one of the only days that you will actually due anything that has to do with this. Soo you are going with me and that’s final. I don’t care if Max saw you. Poor little Lizzie is embarrassed. You’re going.......”

“NO, I’m...” Liz tried to answer back.

“No you don’t... Now here put these on and lets go.” Angela said. While handing Liz random clothes she grabbed from her bed. “Maria go downstairs and tell Max we’ll be right down.”

“Yes....Mom.” Maria answered back. Still trying to contain her laughter.

Liz did as she was told, like always. In her haste she didn’t even realize what her sister had handed her.(*happy*) She followed her sister. Still embarrassed as hell. She didn’t want to do this. Didn’t want to face him, but what was she going to do. She couldn’t say no. Angie was right it probably was going to be one of the only days she could do this. She was starting a new project tomorrow. Had the clients coming in for a meeting, and everything. Damn It! Her sister was counting on her to be her maid of honor and she couldn’t very well refuse. Nope she wasn’t going to back down. If she did she would feel guilty for the rest of her life. Crap.

“Okay.....come on lets go then.” Liz said hesitantly, still following her sister. Into the hallway and down the stairs. She was surprised not to find either Max or Maria sitting in the living room.

“They must be outside, waiting for us.” Angela said, while walking towards the front door, opening it, and heading outside with Liz in tow.

‘Nice.’ Thought Liz as she walked outside and saw what she guessed to be Max’s car. Well, not car but SUV escalade, black to be exact. ‘He is a lawyer. Must earn a lot of cash. Good for Angie.’

Liz then noticed that both Maria and Max had already gotten in. Strapped and ready. Angela then got in, shotgun of course. Liz soon followed suit. Going around the SUV to the drivers side and getting in the back seat.

Conversation in the escalade decreased to a minimal. Some chit-chat between Max and Angela, or Maria and Liz. Angela and Maria also conversed, but nothing in between the driver and the passenger behind his seat.

Liz didn’t even dare begin or but into a conversation with Max. She was still way too embarrassed. To her it also seemed that he didn’t even want to talk to her. ‘Better for her.’ Liz thought. Although she wondered why it bothered her so much the thought of him not wanting to or even try to talk to her. As all this was going through her brain she sneaked glances up towards the driver. Through the rear view mirror. Some how just looking at his eyes made her feel hot.

Someone else in the escalade also sneaked glances towards the back seat, and it wasn’t towards the side that the motor mouth red head was sitting on.

They soon arrived at the bridal boutique and met up with Max’s friends, Michael Guerin, Kyle Valenti, and Max’s sister Isabel Evans. Everyone said their hellos.

Liz soon found out that Angela had asked Max if one of her long time friends could be a best man because she had known him forever. That’s why Alex was there. Alex Whitman to be exact. He had been a brother to Liz and Angela growing up, but seemed to care for Liz more because he knew that Liz was a tad more vonerable that Angela was.

Soon after everyone said hello to Alex. Both the men and the women parted ways in the bridal boutique.

~*~*~*~

That’s where they were now.

“No Angela. I am not going to try on the wedding dresses you like and walk out there. Show them to your fiance, as well as his friends. Make a complete ass of myself once more in front of him as well as his friends and mine. That’s where I draw the line. Any ways you know that’s bad luck. Liz said. Trying to make her sister understand that she was not going to make her do that. Some how her whole life Angela had always come up with hair brain schemes to get them in trouble. For some reason she had always gone along with everything she said. Maybe because she was younger and wanted to follow her sister, or maybe because she was stupid. But this was just too far. This was as far as Liz was going to let her sister push her. Or so she thought.

“Pleeeaaaasssseeee Liz. All I want is his opinion. And it’s not bad luck because you’re not the bride to be. I am. and you’re going to be the one trying on the dresses and showing it to him.” Angela returned.

“Can’t you just show him the dress on a mannequin or model or something. Like I said before it’s not just Max I’m going to be acting like a fool in front of, but everyone out there.” Liz said.

“You know that a model or a mannequin would show him what I really would look like in the dress. Besides, we could put Max in a room all alone and you could just show him the dresses.”

“Arent you going to be in there with me. Well, that is in case I do decide to do this.” Liz returned.

“No.” Angela answered, bluntly.

“I’m willing to do it, but you have to be in the room with me.”

“I know Max and he would never go along with this. Besides he will never know. We are twins.”

“Well, you sure thought of everything didn’t you.” Liz replied.

“You know your going to say yes. I don’t even know why you’re taking so long to do it.”

“FINE. Damn it. I’ll do it.” Liz finally said. Just agreeing to make her sister stop begging.

I know. I know. You guys are probably going to kill me any second now. I didn’t know how late this was going to be until a couple of days after I posted the note before. I had forgotten that my finals were that week. I had to study my ass off for all of them, and didn’t realize that I wouldn’t have time to write. The week after that was just as bad. On top of all that I was all of a sudden bombarded with things I needed to to. Yep that’s when all hell broke loose in me. I was really angry. I know this is really late, but could you guys please, please forgive me (You guys can’t see this, but I’m on my knees begging for your forgiveness).

And thanks to for all the post out there. I really apreciate it.

Chapter 6

‘Breath. Just breath.’ Liz thought as she made her way towards the room that held an unsuspecting Max.

She still didn’t understand why she had let Angela talk her into this.

“I’m an idiot. A really big idiot.” Liz said out loud, as she kept making her way towards the door.

Liz then stopped paying attention to what she was doing lost in her thoughts. As she made her way inside of the room. All the while talking to herself and trying to understand why it so hard for her to say no to her sister.

“Damn It! Why am I always the one that has to do something stupid. While she always gets the good side of the bargain.” Liz ranted out loud.

“Michael is that you?” Someone said from a corner of the room.

Liz was startled out of her thoughts when she heard the voice of the one person she couldn’t get out of her mind. The person whose voice had haunted her dreams for the past weeks. The one and only Max Evans.

“Angela....What are you doing in here? In that?” Max said, once he had turned around and looked to see who the person that had just walked in was, and realized it was his soon to be wife in non-other than a wedding dress. A wedding dress that looked really, really, good. Well, looked good on her. ‘What are you thinking Max. You’re not suppose to see her like that. In that. Now.’ Max thought as he caught sight of her eyes.

“Oh geezz....Max!” Liz said realizing that somehow in the past few minutes she had made her way into the room she had been dreading entering. What the hell was wrong with her. She hadn’t lost sight of his eyes since he had captured hers a few seconds ago.

“Angela. I think you should get out of here!” Max said rather dully, as he turned around to a wall of mirrors. Trying to erase the image of his fiance in a white silk dress that hung low on her shoulders and was now burned into his memory forever. Once he realized his mistake of turning around he was forced to look at her through the reflection the mirrors gave of her. He could see the reflection of his fiance, or who he thought was his fiance, in the mirror. Now he couldn’t look away. Either way he looked he still saw what he didn’t want to see. The thing he knew he shouldn’t see his fiance looking spectacular in something almost as beautiful as her.

“Max I..um...” Why was this so hard for her. ‘Just get it out. Get what you need and leave’ Liz thought as she once again tried to say what she was doing. “I just wanted to ask you some questions. Well, more like your opinion.” Liz blurted out.

“My opinion? On what?” Max asked a little breathless. Still looking at her reflection in the mirror. Trying his hardest to keep his eyes on hers and nothing else, but even that was hard. Because looking at her face was making him hard. In more places than one. It was making him realize the beauty his fiance truly held. That was something he had never quite noticed before. The was her make up looked natural, or the way her upper lip quivered when she was nervous, or the way her hair looked as soft as velvet. The fact that he wanted to run...wait why was she nervous?

“Well.....um...” ‘Get a grip Parker. He’s going to figure out that its not Angela standing in front of him in, but you. That would not be good. Angela would have never acted like this. Well, of course she wouldn’t. She wouldn’t need to act like an idiot because this really is her fiance!’ Liz thought, as she tried to figure out how her sister would be acting right now. But she didn’t need to try and figure it out. She knew exactly what Angela would be doing right now.

It was at that moment that she actually looked at Max. Well, more like the way he looked in that tux. WOW. It should be a crime to look as good as he did in that thing. She didn’t think anyone could ever look that good. He looked rugged in his tux. She guessed it was because of the many he had already tried on, but something made her think twice about her guess. She remembered the way he looked even before they had come here. RUGGED. HOT. And just plain, what she now thought as the every day Max. OK. Mind wandering....bad.

“Keep thinking sisterly love. Your just doing this to help your sister. Nothing in the mix for you. Nothing........” Liz said, not realizing she said it out loud.

“What was that?” Max said, forgetting he had been trying to avoid looking at her for too long, well, looking at her period. He hadn’t realized that at the same time he had asked the question he had turned around to look at her, as well as taking a few steps forward.

‘Damn’ Liz thought, realizing she had said that out loud. “Nothing....I didn’t say anything.” ‘Damn it, again!’ As Liz once again made the mistake of not getting right to the point. “OK. Max let me just get right to the point. I want to ask you some questions. Well, I want your opinion on this dress, and then I’ll leave. But I will eventually come back wearing other dresses.” Liz said with the last amount of breath that she had. She was about to start again when......

“Ange-” Max began only to be rudely interrupted by Liz just as he had interrupted her.

“Hold that thought Max.” Liz said as the confidence of her sister enveloped her. “Max, I just want to know what you think about some of the dresses Ang...I--I chose. I know you have heard all that bad luck and all. I’m really hoping you don’t believe in any of that because, Max, I really want your opinion.” Liz said, not knowing what had just come over her, but feeling good about it.

“Angela I understand what you want me to do, but-”

“Please, Max. All I’m asking is for you too look at some of them. Any ways you totally know I’m not leaving this room without you telling me what you think, and if I do leave it’s going to be because I’m going to come back in another one. Like I said before.”

“Angela if my mother finds out she’s going to die on the spot.” Max explained trying his best showing her why this was a bad idea. The fact of the matter was that his mother had nothing to do with his not wanting this. He wanted this. No man in the world would ever turn down a plea like that. Watching their fiance prance around in dresses. Even if they were wedding dresses. Although he had the better judgment to say that because he knew that the dresses weren’t the only thing that made them look good.

“Come on Max. Your mother will never know. It’ll be our little secret.” Liz said, finally getting into character. Well, hoping she was in character.

“Angela. No.”

“Damn it Max. just tell me. It’ll only take a couple of minutes. That’s all.” Liz said, forgetting she was at all nervous and taking a couple steps closer to Max

“You look good.” Max said, realizing that he was no longer looking at her through the reflection of the mirror, but dead ahead and had also taken a couple of steps towards her. As well as noticing she had taken some steps closer to him.

“Thank You, Max. Now was that really that hard.”

“Harder than you think” Max whispered under his breath.

“OK. Is it just good or really good. Do you really like it or are you just saying that to make me feel better.” Liz said jokingly.

“Okay. So you want me to say you look really good in it.” Max said, calming down a lot.

At that moment both finally calmed down. Calmed down to actually have a decent conversation without being stupid. Settling into the weird conversation they were having.

“Fine the. I’ll be right back.” Liz hurriedly said, while stepping back to the door, reaching for the door knob.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Once she was out the door she let go of a breath she hadn’t realized she was holding.

She walked back to the room which held her sister awaiting the results of her stupid idea. What pissed her off the most was that it had worked. Max hadn’t notice that it wasn’t Angela in there, but herself. Hadn’t blown a top, and she had even convinced Max to give him her opinion. Damn her sister!

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

“Oh my gosh, Liz. How did it go. Did he figure it out. Nah I doubt it. Any ways what did he say did he like it or did he hate. Liz answer me!” said Angela trying to get her sister to talk. Say anything about what happened in there.

“Good.”

“What?”

“He said it looked good on.....said it was pretty. OK.” Liz bit back. Why did her sister have to be so pushy.

“That’s all he said. Good. Did you ask him any other things about the dress? Come on Liz this isn’t helping me at all. Help me!”

“What do you want me to say, Angela? That your fiance didn’t catch me in the act of passing me off as you. Or are you angry that I have nothing else to contribute to what he said. Because that’s all he said. That it was good. Now can I get the hell out of this dress so I we can leave.” Liz said, almost beginning to yell. Well, wanting to yell at the top of her lungs, but realizing that even that wouldn’t help her cause with her sister. Demolition control. ‘That’s what I should call her from now on. She always finds a way to demolish any sense of sanity I have left at any time.

Why was it that when Angela and her always got together in some way or another she knew that things were not going to be good. That somehow her sister, Angela, would always come up with something like this. Something that would mean getting into an icky situation, and why was it always her.

“Geezz you don’t have to bite my head off, but you are forgetting something, Liz.”

“What’s that?”

“That were not leaving after you take that dress off.” Angela said a little hesitantly. Not knowing what her sister was going to say.

“Because....”

“Because you have to go back there and show him the rest of these dresses....”

“Oh no you don’t. If you want to do it. YOU do it. There is no way I’m going back there. Any ways he doesn’t have a problem with this,” Liz said pointing at herself in the wedding dress. “He’s going to let you do it.”

“The thing is that if I’m in the dress and he sees me it’ll be bad luck, but if he sees you in this dress, well, any of these dresses. It wont be.” Angela answered back a matter of factly.

“I think we already covered that whole bad luck crap, but I don’t care. So I guess you’re going to have to do this. Because I don’t see anyone else that looks like you that would want to go back in there. Unless you want to send Maria or Max’s sister, Isabel. Even though he might be able to tell the difference.” Liz said, trying her hardest to reach the zipper on the back of the dress.

When she caught a hold of the zipper she pulled down. She was out of the dress in no time flat, but before she could get her clothes close to her sister she was thrown out of the dressing room.

Liz wouldn’t of cared, but the fact was she was kinda naked. What would you say? If someone was in front of you in nothing more than a white bra and panties.

“Fucking A- Angela. Open the damn door. If someone out here sees me like this you are going to die. And don’t worry about mom and dad I’ll tell them you didn’t suffer. Now open the damn door.” Liz yelled to the door.

“I’m not going to open the door until you say you’re going to finish this. If not you already know what’s going to happen. You’re going to find yourself in front of someone who is probably going to scream and with that more people are going to come. And did I tell you you’re going to be embarrassed out of your mind.” Angela answered back between fits of laughter.

“I can’t believe you’re doing this, and on top of all that actually laughing. I’m so going to kick your ass before and after I kill you. I just wanted to mention that. Now once again I will say, Open the DAMN door.”

“Only if you say yes.”

“No. I will no longer be apart of your weird ideas. I should have even said yes to doing the first one.”

“One more time, Liz. YES or NO.”

“And this is once again a No. How about a HELL NO!” Liz replied.

“OK then you better go find something to wear. Cuz I am soooo not letting you back in.”

“Angela you are so childish. This is so childish. You know I should tell your fiance that you are nothing, but a little girl. Who doesn’t care about her sister because she makes her due stupid things.” Liz said, once again trying to convince her to let her back in. By making her feel dumb.

“Nope nothin to it. There is no way you’re going to make me feel bad about this. So please just say yes so I can let you back in to put on another dress and show it to Max.”

“I can’t believe I’m going to do this again. Fine damn it let me back in. I hate you. You are a horrible sister.” Liz said, falling, once again to her sister pleas.”

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Max had been left there in his dressing room still looking towards the door. Actually wondering if she was going to come back wearing another dress. He really didn’t think he could handle something like that, again.

“Max, could you help me out with these?” Liz asked wondering why he hadn’t answered her if he was looking right at her.

Max hadn’t even noticed when she had come in. Wondering why she was caring, what he thought about, six wedding dresses.

“Max???”

“Oh...um...yeah sure. Why are you carrying these with you, any ways?” Max said while reaching for the dresses.

“Thanks and well Ang...I realized that it would be easier as well as less time consuming if I just change in here and show them to you all at once than one at a time.”
Liz knew better than that. She knew that the only reason Angela had said this was because she knew that if she came back to were her clothes were she wouldn't come back to Max

“OK.” Max said. Now realizing that the time he had had when she had gone to change into another dress was no more. He could no longer use that time to compose himself and not jump on her.

“Okay then lets just start this and finish it quickly. That way we could you know get out of here. So what do you think of this one I’m wearing?”

“You look good in that one too.” Max answered, putting down the dresses she had handed him.

“Max you have to say more than just good. I can’t really work with just good. Thank you very much.”

“Well, you look cute.....” Max countered.

“Do you want me to rip what you really think from you.” Liz said, laughing.

“OK Angela. I’m going to tell you what I think. I think you look beautiful. That dress is stunning with the whatever it has on it.”

“See. Those are the type of responses I’m listening for.” Liz said. Her breathing a little more erratic.

After she had finished her response she quickly walked behind one of the doors. One of the doors that led her into one of the dressing rooms within the larger dressing room. She got dressed, but was finding it a little difficult to reach the zipper.

“Um...Max could you help me zip this up, please,” she said not realizing what she had just asked him.

“Yeah....um....sure”

He opened the door to find Liz in the most amazing dress he had ever seen. That was a lot to say coming from him. He had never really cared much for dresses. Well, of course for when they were coming off a woman, but that was besides the point. This was so the dress. He knew he sounded like a complete idiot inside of his head, but there was just something about this dress that made him think. Made him want his fiance right here, right now.

He made his way close to her reaching his hands out to skim the back of the dress to reach for the zipper. As his fingers grabbed a hold of the zipper his pinkie pointed outward to trace the contours of her back while zipping it up her body.

‘Wait did he just hear her moan.’ Max thought as he looked up to see, who he thought was his girl friend in the mirror in the small dressing room. And what he saw was more than he was expecting.

She was there with her eyes closed, and what he thought just taking in the moment, and what a moment it was.

“So..um............Max what do you think of this one.” Liz said, trying her best to keep herself from moaning out loud, again. And hoping he hadn’t heard her when she had before. As well as once again trying to get Max to say something about what he thought. After she finished saying the last word she made her way around to face Max. As well as show him the front of the dress.

When she faced him she realized that he was much closer than she thought. Looking at her funny. Something was wrong. His eyes were that much darker from his beautiful amber eyes.

This is when Liz began to freak out. Thinking that he knew it was her. Her Liz not her Angela. ‘It must be the proximity.’ Liz thought, still freaking out.

“Um....Max....” Liz stumbled out. Trying to move past Max and out the door.

“You look absolutely wonderful. This is the dress.” Max said, stopping her movements. He realized that she looked different. He didn’t know how, but knew she was. He also realized that her smell was making him crazy. Something new about her. ‘Is it a new perfume. Vanilla and strawberries. That’s what it is.’ Max thought.

This is when Liz began to calm down. Aware that he hadn’t noticed it wasn’t his beloved Angela standing before him, but her sister.

“Are you sure? Should I try some of the other ones. I mean there are still five you haven’t seen. Maybe one of those will be a good one too.” Liz asked out of breath. The proximity of him, as well as his scent, was making her dizzy. All she wanted to do was.......OK once again mind wandering.

“No. This it the dress. I don’t know what it is. Maybe it’s just you wearing it, but something about this one dress is just, WOW.” Max responded, inching his way closer to her. Pining her against the wall without her even realizing it.

“OK. So were done. Why don’t you go outside and let me get out of-”

This was too much for him to bare. All he was really looking at was the way her lips were moving not what was coming out of them. So in a haste he just decided to take things into his own hands. His own hands being he kissed her, hard.

‘This is not good. This isn’t suppose to happen. This was not part of the plan.’ Liz thought, willing her hands to push him away.

“What’s wrong?” Max said out of breath. That was the first time he had ever kissed Angela and felt sparks. Fireworks. He knew that all they needed was a little time. That somehow those sparks would appear and here they were.

“We can’t do this.” She said trying her hardest not to reach out to him. To bring him closer and finish what they had started, but Max had ideas of his own. Taking her lips once more in another earth shattering kiss.

This is where she drew the line. This is when her hands instead of pushing him away made there way around his neck to hold him closer. All thoughts of who this man belonged to as well as where they were and what she was wearing left both their minds as other things came into the picture.

Moans were heard. Harsh breathing. Both acts coming from both victims.

His mouth then left hers, but finding its way down her neck. Sucking. Kissing. Biting. His hands made there way around her to the zipper. Ever so slowly he unzipped what he had just zipped, mouth once again attached to her mouth. Slowly he pulled the straps of the dress down her shoulders, mouth leaving mouth to kiss where straps had just been.

Max opened his eyes to see what he thought as a birth mark he had never seen before, considering he had seen her in her bathing suits, or what she thought were bathing suits on more than one occasion. His eyes went back to hers, both meeting as if for the first time. ‘She looks amazing’ Max thought once again kissing her to he fullest. Trying as if to swallow her whole. For the first time in a long time he felt she was his and the other way around.

“Angela your beautiful.”

That’s all it took for Liz to run out of the room. Realizing that she had put herself in a bad situation. Only stepping out when she realized that he thought it was her sister in his arms.

TBC.............

OK Yes I know I don’t deserve it, but could you please please leave feedback. I don’t really like the ending, but I guess I’ll just wait and see what you guys think.

I know way to long but here it is.

Chapter 7

‘Gotta get out of this thing. Need to fix myself. Need to be in my clothes. My own skin.’ Liz thought frantically as she ran from the room that held the man that had just kissed her. A man that was willing to do more than just kiss in that dressing room. A man she knew shouldn’t have kissed her. “Max” Liz whispered out into the empty hallway making her almost trip over her dress. The dress that was almost falling off her body because he had unzipped it and... ‘Her dress. This was not her dress. Angela. Oh god what had she just done. Nothing. You didn’t do anything wrong, except maybe let your sisters fiance kiss you. Exactly he kissed you, but what a kiss, well, what three kisses. No not good kisses you didn’t feel a thing.’ Liz kept repeating over and over in her head, as she tried to find the dressing room that held her clothes. Held her clothes and her sister. ‘What was she going to tell Angela? He liked the dress. Oh yeah Liz that’ll do it.’

“Angela?” Someone said behind her. Startling her from her thoughts.

“What.....” Liz said, as she made herself turn around and see who was calling her sister. Maria. Damn it! It just had to be her. Please don’t let her recognize me. Please.

“Angela. What are you doing parading that thing out here? There are dressing rooms around here. You know someone could catch you in that thing. Max could catch you in that thing. Oh and then there would be bad luck if you chose to buy that dress, and then your marriage would be ruined.” Maria babbled while pushing Liz into a dressing room. “Hurry up damn it get in the room!”

“Would you stop pushing me!!” Liz said exasperated. This was getting ridiculous.

“.......Liz. Is that you.” Maria yelped. While looking down at Liz’ left shoulder. To see if she could find one of the many differences Liz and Angela had. A birth mark, and yep there it was. “Liz, what the hell are you doing in that thing. Because I know for a fact that that is not the brides maid dress. Cuz that thing is ugly. Well, not ugly but it definitely isn't one of the prettiest things you’ve ever seen. I mean what could have possessed your sister to pick out that thing is way beyond me. I understand that her favorite color is that horrendous barf green, but please for a brides maid dress. That is just way out there. The style is way off........” Maria was stopped short of her blabber by none other than..

“Maria. You’re babbling again. Good god Maria can’t you ever stop talking. If she wants the damn dresses to be barf green, then so be it. We can’t stop her from picking them out. So why the hell are you complaining.”Liz finished. Trying her best to get Maria to completely forget about the whole wedding dress get up. I mean she was already half way their with it just being Maria.

“Oh no you don’t.”

“Oh no I don’t what.” Liz asked innocently. She knew she had been made. That was the one thing she would change about Maria if she could. Her unbelievable was of getting you back to the one thing you don’t want to talk about.

“Liz. We’ll get back to the ugly brides maid dresses later. Now tell me why you were walking around in a wedding dress down the hallways, and not just any hallways, but the hallway of were your sister, Angela, happens to be buying her wedding dress.” Maria pierced out towards Liz.

“Well, I just thought I would try some of these out. That way when I need to look for one I wont have to search much because I’ll already know what I’m looking for.” Liz stammered out. Hoping and pleading to god to just this once make Maria believe her. But alas god didn’t answer her pled.

“Nothing do it Miss Elizabeth Claudia Parker.” Maria started. Knowing full well that Liz knew that when she used her whole name Maria Christina DeLuca meant business. “Now if you make me ask you the same question again I will wrestle you to the ground and tickle you senseless until you spill out the dirt.”

“Crap. Maria can’t you please just this once let it go. Just this once. Your best friend is asking you to do her a favor, and just let it go.” Liz now pleaded with Maria.

“Ok fine you asked for it. Now I’m really sorry that that wonderful dress you’re wearing is going to get ruined, but you have left me no other options.” Maria yelled, as she began chasing Liz around the not so big dressing room. “Liz, there is nowhere to hide. You know you can’t get away from the rath of ‘Hurricane DeLuca’. Was that the name you and Alex use to call me.” Maria stated, jumping over a little foot stool.

“Maria this is really childish. Were 27 years old Maria. We are way to old to be playing these stupid little games of yours,” Liz whiled as she ducked out of the way of Maria’s hands. “and for your information. We still call you that.”

With that final sentence in motion Maria’s energy flew off the regular Maria ricter scales. Now she was on full. Using Maria power that was suppose to be used for just these occasions. When your best friend is trying to pull something and you need to find out what it is. That was how Maria felt when she plunged towards Liz. Grabbing a hold of her arm and twisting it behind her. Just like she use to when they were kids and she wanted to find something out.

“Maria, let me go.” Liz yelled.

“Nope. Not until you tell me what you’re doing in that thing. I mean it is wonderful looking. You look just like Cinderella, but that’s not the point. I will once again point out what exactly the point is. The point is that you have to tell me everything or I will wrestle you to the ground. I will show no mercy, missy.” Maria explained, in an all to calm voice.

“No. Maria did you see the price tag of this thing. I could probably buy myself a new house.” Liz yelped, as Maria began to pull harder on her arm.

“I said no mercy.”

“Fine. Maria. Fine. I’ll tell you everything. Just don’t break any of my bones.” Liz said. Finally deciding to tell Maria everything. Well, maybe, not everything.

“Ok then. See that’s all I wanted to hear. Now spill.” Maria said while letting go of Liz’ arm.

“Not here Maria. Not in this.” Liz said defeated, and looking down at the dress that one Maxwell Evans had seen her in. Had touched her in. Had kissed her in. Just remembering Max kissing her in this dress made her all hot and clammy. ‘She had to get out of this thing. NOW.’

“Okay, Liz, but remember. You’re going to tell me everything.”

“Yeah, yeah. Everything Maria.” Liz said making her way towards the door. Wanting so much to get out of the dress.

“So, Liz, where are we going?” Maria asked, while following close behind Liz.

“We,” Liz said, while pointing at herself and Maria, “are going to get my clothes.” Liz finished, walking out into the hallway and making her way to the dressing room that had started all of this. Once she go to the door of the dressing room she didn’t know what to do. ‘What am I going to tell her? Nothing. Well, maybe...

“What are we waiting for? Liz? Hello in there?” Maria said.

“Nothing.” Liz repeated out loud. She knocked on the door.

“Who is it?” Liz heard her sister say from somewhere on the other side of the door.

“It’s me, Liz. Open the door.” Liz said, while jiggling the door knob.

“Did you finish, already. Because if you didn’t I’m not going to let you in.” Angela said, coming closer to the door.

“Yes dear sister. Now let me in before someone out here sees me.”

“Angela made you do this. Oh I knew it had something to do with her. Why did she make you do this? Liz, damn it tell me know. The suspense is killing me. Come on.....” Maria said, once again opening her mouth.

“Would you shut up. I’ll tell you everything later.” Liz replied, while the door to the dressing room opened to a not-expecting-Maria-to-be-with-you Angela. “You shut up too. I’m not in the mood. I just want to get out of this thing and go home. Okay. I am not going to any more shops. I refuse to do this again,” Liz said, while pointing to the wedding dress that she wore, “and further more. You both suck.” Liz finished while making her way into the dressing room. Striping down to her undergarments and hastily putting on her red spaghetti strap shirt and low rider blue jeans.

“So, Liz, what did Max think of the dresses? Did he like them? Was there one he liked a lot more than the others? Come on Liz. Tell me!” Angela asked, her patience getting the best of her.

“He liked them all,” Liz lied. Knowing full well that she had just tried on three of the many Angela had picked for her to parade around in for Max to chose the best one.

“He didn’t hint out at which one he liked the best. Maybe he smiled more at one. Liz, you know that ‘he liked them all’ isn’t going to help me very much.”

“Yes, their was one he liked more than the others.” Liz replied, her thoughts wandering to the minutes before she had run out of the room that Max was situated in. Then she remembered what he had said that had made her leave ‘Angela your beautiful.’

“Well, which one was it?” Angela asked.

“I can’t believe this.” Maria said. The conversation unfolding in front of her making some sence. The only thing she needed to know was why Liz was doing this.

“Liz? Which one?” Angela asked once again, “I really liked the first one you tried on. Was that the one, was it.”

“It was that one.” Liz replied, pointing at the dress she had just taken off.

“Really....” Angela said. She really hadn’t liked that dress as much as the first one she had tried on, but if Max liked it that meant that it was pretty.

“Yes. Really. Now, can we please get out of here and go home.” Liz said, walking out the door and to the front of the store. Soon followed by Maria and Angela. Angela holding ‘the dress’.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Same time Liz ran out on Max. Max’s dressing room.

“Angela.......” Max rasped out. Wondering why his fiance had run out on him.

What was wrong with him? She had run out because of what he was doing. They were going to get married soon and he had asked her if they could wait. She was probably just obliging to what I asked her to do for me.

WOW. That was all he could think now. Well, not the only thing. He also thought about how it had felt to have her mouth on his. The first two kisses had just been one sided he had felt it, but from his side it felt so good. He just kept wanting more. Once he had started kissing her he couldn’t make himself stop. Tasting her. God what did she taste like. Her wonderful lip gloss tasting like strawberries. Her skin tasting like strawberries. What an amazing taste she had.

All he wanted to do at the moment of his attack was eat her whole. Touch her like she’d never been touched. Kiss her like she’d never been kissed. Loving her like she’d never been loved before. Taking her like she’d never been taken before. Making her....he was pulled from his thoughts by the voice of a chum.

“Max? Max?” Michael voiced. He had been calling his name from the other side of the door for the past five minutes. Wondering what was taking him so long, and what had happened with Angela. He had seen Angela run out of here like there was no tumor.

“Huh.....”

“Max...buddy. Are you okay?” Michael asked. ‘Something has to be wrong if he’s acting like this.” Michael thought.

“Michael...What? Wait. No. Nothing’s wrong.” Max replied trying his best and not to make his lie to obvious.

“Max. Don’t you think I know you better than this. I saw Angela running out of here. What happened man? She looked really spaced out.”

“Nothing Michael. Just couple stuff. You know how it is.”

“Okay...buddy.” Michael replied, knowing full well that wasn’t the problem. But he wasn’t gonna push the conversation if Max didn’t want to talk about it. “So are you ready. Did you find a tux. I think I found one, but it’s kinda you know tuxy.”

Max thanked the lord that Michael hadn’t pushed the subject further. He really didn’t want to talk about what had transpired in this room not too long ago. He didn’t want to talk about how it felt to have Angela’s hands on his neck or the way her harsh breathing on his face gave him the need to do something more to her. To take her to places she had never been to. Higher than she had ever been.

“Max.....you there...”

“Yeah sorry, and what’s up the the tux being too tuxy, Michael is that even a word.” Max said, trying to cover for his lack of listening skills toward his friend.

“Shut up, man. I mean look at yourself. You look interesting enough,” Michael said, trying to cover up his laughter. “Anyway we need to get back to business. Have you found your tux or are we going to have to go somewhere else and find the damn thin. Although, I should tell you I don’t want to go anywhere else. I found something that seems conformable enough. I think.” Michael replied, with uncertainty

“Yes, Michael I have found one. What do you think?” Max said doing a stupid twirl, laughing, and showing Michael the tux he had found. He had tried on better ones, but what made him chose this one was what he had done with his soon to be wife. The memories of this would last him a lifetime.

“Okay then. So we can leave, right.”

“Right. Let me just change and we’ll be on our way out.” Max replied, making his way to one of the smaller rooms inside the larger one. “So where did you leave Alex. He’s not such a bad guy, you know. Pretty nice if I do say so myself.”

“Oh he’s also changing out of his tux. We found them, and I just happened to beat him at changing out them, and came to look for you. He’s probably out front now. You’re right he isn’t that bad a guy. Seems pretty decent, and has a great job. Something to do with computers. What is it? Let me remember.” Michael said searching his brain for what the answer was.

“Doesn’t he work for some high rate computer company, and isn’t he working on his own time to come out with some secret thing, that’ll make him rich. Well a lot richer than he is right now. I don’t remember what it is though.” Max said.

“Yeah that’s it. He seems like a smart guy. Although, did you see the way he was looking at Isabel out in front. He looked smitten.” Michael said, in between chuckling.

“Hey my sister isn’t that bad. Although she can be the real ‘Ice Bitch’ at her job and a ‘Nazi’ when it comes to the holidays, but you gotta love her. Anyway, you know you lover her so what’s the point in denying it. Right Michael.” Max said, also chuckling.

“Yeah, yeah. So anyway, Max, how was the ride over. I saw Angela’s sister. WOW. I mean you told me they looked a lot a like, but I figured family resemblance. You know what I mean. She is pretty cute, but I think the little red head, or is she a blond, anyway, she’s hot. Has all the curves in all the right places.” Michael said, waiting for Max to come out from changing.

“Yeah, I guess. I mean they are fraternal twins. So what else could you expect, and I guess Maria is cute, but she’s not really my type. She works with Liz, you know.” Max explained. “Hey did I tell you that they are the ones that are going to be working with us.”

“They are! On what. I haven’t seen their names on any of the depositions for any of our cases.” Michael replied. Wondering how they were going to be working with Elizabeth and this, hot, Maria.

“You know P&D Architecture.”

“Yeah”

“Well, it so happens that it’s their company. They went to school together, I think Liz mentioned something about them being childhood friends and wanting to do something together when they were older. Something that could help them help people. I think that’s what she said.” Max finished, he hadn’t realized he had remember half of the stuff he had just explained.

“WOW. Really. That’s interesting. I mean it’s cool, they seem so young to have their own company and what not.”

“Did Michael Guerin just say ‘cool’. I haven’t heard you say that word since law school.”

“Shut up, Maxwell.” Michael said, a tad embarrassed.

“I’m ready.” Max said walking out of the room he had just been in and into the larger one. “Lets go.” Now they walked out into the hallway, and out to the front of the store where he saw the whole group. Apparently waiting for him and Michael. There was Angela. His Angela. Everyone looked over to them as they walked closer.

“Max, everyone was thinking of going to lunch, cuz, were all starved.” Angela said as Max walked up to her and gave her a quick kiss. “What was that for, Hun.”

“No reason.” Max said a little taken back by the fact that he didn’t smell the strawberries or vanilla. He didn’t taste the strawberries. Didn’t feel the sparks. What was wrong? “Yeah sure. Why not?” Max replied to the question that had been asked.

As everyone made their way past the couple and out the door. Liz was the last one to pass by them. She hoped the slight pain at watching Max and Angela kiss hadn’t been seen by anyone. ‘Why had it hurt? It hadn’t it was just me and my wish to have someone of my own.’ And that was Liz’s conclusion.

As she passed by Max though he caught a scent of something he had smelled before. Strawberries and vanilla.......He starred after her as she made her way towards his SUV.

Teaser

The ride over to the burger shop was excruciating. With Liz watching Max and Angela hold hands and what not.

On the other hand there was Max who was beginning to wonder. Wonder about a lot of things. For one why didn’t Angela smell like strawberries and vanilla. When he had watched Liz hope into the SUV he noticed that she had what looked like a birth mark on her left shoulder. The same shoulder Angela had one or so he thought. He couldn’t really tell if Angela had one because of the fact that she was wearing a long sleeved shirt. It bothered him not to know. Did they both have that same birth mark? Damn it, why was he making such a big deal out of this? They both probably had one. It wouldn’t make any sense if Angela didn’t have one and anyway he had seen it so she had to have one.

‘Ok Max calm down and drive. It doesn’t matter. They both have one and that’s final. Their twins they both have to have it.’ Max thought rationally. ‘But what about the sweet smell of strawberries and vanilla.’ The wonderful smell he now thought he was addicted to. Maxwell Evans had smelled strawberries and had smelled vanilla, but both of them at the same time and with just the right amount. One smell wasn’t over powering of the other. They both had an equal share in the partnership. ‘What the hell are you thinking, Max, ‘an equal share in the partnership.’ Max you’re thinking too much about the damn smell of strawberries and vanilla. So maybe you got the smell wrong. It wasn’t the smell of strawberries and vanilla.’ As Max thought about it more and more his hands grew rustles and were now holding on to the steering wheel a little to tight. To tight meaning; knuckles were now white; concentration shot; etc....etc...etc...

“Max.......hunny?” Angela questioned. Wondering why he was holding on to the steering wheel so tightly. Noticing that he was swerving a little to the right. “Hun......could you please watch the road.” Angela once again tried. Hoping to get her fiances attention.

“What.....huh....” Max said, coming out of his thoughts. Noticing, now, that he was swerving off to the side, and making a sharp swerve back to the road. “Sorry.”

“Woah their Maxie boy. You don’t want to get us all killed before your big day, now do you.” Maria chimed in, like she always did with some remark or another.

Liz laughed at this. Maria always seemed to get to her. She knew that once they were at the burger place Maria would be hassling her non-stop. Making her tell her everything, ‘Oh god’, and that meant everything. She now hated the fact that her friend knew everything about her and could blackmail into anything and everything.

‘Damn it why did she have to tell her best friend everything,’ Liz thought, also thinking of every single secret she had ever told her in her entire life. She didn’t even notice when they got to In and Out. Didn’t notice when everyone got out of the SUV or got into the burger joint, well everyone but Max. Max was waiting for her outside her door. Calling out her name.

“Liz.....Liz?” He said, while he himself getting out of the front seat. Then walking back and opining the back door for Liz. “Liz?” Max once again questioned, touching the left shoulder of one still out of it Liz Parker.

Liz Parker hadn’t noticed any of the things around her till the very moment one Max Evans touched her.

Hope you guys liked it. Just leave me feedback and tell me what you thought. The new part might be out by the end of the week. Maybe

Hey guys, hows it going. I bet you guys are like totally freaking out right now. Asking your selfs OMG another update. I know, I know what is she thinking, but then again u guys might like it. I don't know what I'm doing but hey. I'm just flying by the seat of my pants right now and cant seem to stop flying...lol...anyway....ill just get on with this.

Chapter 8

Sparks.

That's all there is to say. I don't have to tell you people that when Max touched one unsuspecting Liz they both jumped at the instant reaction both their bodies gave them. Or the fact that Liz almost fell, on her ass, out of the SUV, but was caught by one Max, standing near by.

Or when they felt each others arms around one another they felt at peace. Like finding the final piece of the puzzle. The other half of the orange.

Max did get a whif of her oh so wonderful smell, strawberries and vanilla, but still didn't catch on that this was the woman he had kissed minutes before in a dressing room. That this was the woman he, oh so very much, wanted to take, right there and then. The woman he felt sparks with. The actual woman he would love to spend the rest of his life with.

Liz did get to feel alive again, in the arms of the man she had been waiting for her entire life. Just as alive if not more than when she had been in that dressing room, but she too doesn't want to admit to anything that is happening around her. Doesn't want to admit to the feelings she's starting to feel. Starting to feel for the wrong man entirely.

It's now the day after 'the incident'.

The incident that Liz has tried to forget, but has failed miserably because her true friend Maria keeps bringing it up whenever she gets the chance.

After they had had lunch they all went their respective ways. Well, Liz left with Alex and Maria after. Not noticing that one member was a bit saddened by her leaving with him. I didn't really notice what happened to the rest of them, but I can tell you that Max left with Angela. Where....who knows.

In Alex's car Maria even had the audacity to tell their other pack member Alex about 'the incident'. Liz still isn't very happy about that. Alex had a good laugh up until Liz almost kicked his ass. Well almost, try, did kick his ass, when they got home, but then felt guilty so she said she was sorry So Alex made her promise not to tell anyone and that wouldn't count. Considering he had been feeling a little sick. So that must have not helped him at all. But Alex and Maria knew better. Those classes of karate had really been paying off for Liz. Both Alex and Maria are scared for their lives. Knowing full well that their best friend, the smaller of the three is capable of kicking their asses.

Anyway, back to the thing at hand. It's the day after. Both Liz and Max are making themselves presentable for their very important meeting.

One already knowing who he's going to go see. He's a bit happy and he doesn't know why.

While the other one doesn't know who the hell she's about to meet, but knows she better make a good impression so she'll get the job. Although she already knows she's got it. First impressions are always good.

Lets take a look at what's happening in their respectable lives at this very moment, Shall we.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"Maria...would you hurry the hell up. I've been waiting for you for over 10 minutes." Liz yelled up the stairs. Today they were going to meet a new client and she knew they were already late. "You said you would be down in let me see, um, a half an hour. Damn it, Maria, they're going down to the office and were late. How the hell is that going to look."

"Will you shut up......" Maria replied loudly ,at first, but when the last words fell from her mouth she remembered what had happened last night with Alex. 'Good god. Who knew that someone so little held such power'. Maria remembered how Alex had left here with a bloody nose and the beginning of a rather big black eye.

"Hurry the hell up....Actually Maria you can just drive yourself today cuz I am so not going to wait for you anymore." Liz yelled once again, as she made her way to the garage door, through it, and to her car. When she gets in she's startled by the fact that Maria is already in the passenger seat. 'How the hell did she do that without me seeing her.'

"How the hell did you do that without me seeing you?" Liz asked baffled by the fact that Maria was in her car already, before her.

"Come on, Liz. I've been waiting for you. Hurry up or were going to be late. "

"Late. We are already late and it's all because of you. You know, if we loose this job I'm gonna do to you what I did to Alex last night." Liz explained.

"......I'm not...afraid of you...." Maria tried to say. Her voice some what breaking along the way. Still trying to cope with the fact that her best friend, the one she thought she could beat up, could be her up to pulp. Could beat up Alex. Well, she could beat Alex, but now she had to be a little more careful about what she said around her friend in the drivers seat.

"Right....." Liz replied as she made her way to Maria and her office. Hoping that their new client wouldn't be that mad. Hoping they hadn't lost the job.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

"Where the hell are they?" Michael once again asked Max. Starting to feel a bit more pissed off. 'Damn it he had a meeting in an hour.' Michael thought as he once again paced the room. Not to much to the liking of Max who happened to be sitting at one of the chairs in Liz Parkers office.

He too was wondering why she was late. He hadn't pegged her for someone who would be late to anything. "Michael would you stop pacing around the room. It's starting to get on my nerves."

"Well, Maxwell if these two damn women would get here, I wouldn't be pacing now would I." Michael replied sharply. "Thank goodness their damn secretary was here or else we'd be waiting out there in the damn cold."

"Michael, shut up. They'll be he...." Max tried to finish, but was stopped short by two women walking in through the door. One being Liz Parker and the other one being Maria DeLuca.

"It's about damn time you got here. I have a meeting in less than an hour and we've," Michael pointed toward himself and Max, "have been waiting for close to a half an hour." Michael finished as he sat down on the chair beside Max's.

"Were really sorry, but my partner here got a little held up." Liz tried to explain. Still not catching on that Max and Michael were in the room. She had yet to look up since she was taking off her coat and softly telling Maria off.

"Anyway, it's okay. Michael here is just a tad on the heavy side when it comes to punctuality. Whatever it was you were held up on I'm sure it was important......" Liz didn't pay attention to anymore of the speech. She knew that voice. She had been trying to get it out of her head all night. The gentle and soft way he spoke. She looked up now. If she thought he had looked well in a tux then she was way off her rocker. The way he filled that suit was just...wow. But what were they doing here. If they were here then where was Angela.

"What....um...what are you guys doing here?" Liz questioned trying to her hardest not to let her eyes roam around the room. More or less to the lower or upper anatomy of one, very sexy, Max Evans.

"Well, we were waiting for you guys. To get started with everything, but since you guys are late and everything we have had to wait a little longer than necessary." Michael chimed in.

"Look. We said we were sorry now just shut up." Maria battle back.

"You're telling me to shut up. God lord. You're the ones that make us wait and you're telling me to shut up. Max please hold me or else I'm going to do something I might regret later." Michael retorted, while getting up.

"Please I could take you any day of the week." Maria countered, wondering why she was getting so pissed off.

"Remember. I said 'might regret'."

Now she remembered why she was getting so angry. Walking up to Michael. "Really....Well then lets see you try." Maria angrily spat out. Now talking in Michael’s face.

"Ok. You asked for it." Michael said, almost getting it on with Maria, but Max and Liz stopped them both.

"You guys are acting like five year old children. Now please calm down." Liz yelled as she pulled Maria to one corner of the room and watched Max pull Michael off to another.

"Yeah, Michael, calm down." Max said.

"Calm down. You're asking me to calm down when motor mouth over there can't keep her mouth shut."

"Motor mouth. Oh why I oughta." Maria countered as she tried to pull form Liz' grasp.

"Children shut up and sit down." Liz and Max now made both Maria and Michael sit down in the chairs that both guys were using a moment ago. "Now once again. What are you guys doing here?" Liz asked for the second time. Wondering where her new clients were and why Max and Michael were here.

"Well, as Michael explained we've been waiting for you." Max tried to explain.

"Waiting for us. Why?" Liz questioned.

"Well, as you've probably already figured out-"

"Figured out?? Figured what out, ohh and by the way where's Angela?" Liz asked, making her way around her desk to her chair and pushing the button on her phone to get her secretary. "Hey, Margy, where the hell our new clients. Weren't they suppose to be here around an hour ago." Liz asked looking down at her watch.

"Yes, Liz. I left them in there this morning. I didn't see them walk out...So they should still be in there." Margy tried to explain.

"Their not in here. All I see are my soon to be brother-in-law and his friend."

"Um...Liz" Max tried to talk.

"Can you wait a second Max. Thanks. No Margy are you sure they didn't leave."

"No. I'm sure they didn't leave. I would have noticed. I mean they were both hot." Margy explained.

"Really, Margy, I didn't know you liked old geezers." Liz joked.

"I don't. These two were not old or geezers. They looked to about in their late 20's. One had dark amber eyes, I think, while the other looked like one of those rebel without a cause type of guys. I mean the way he talked and everything. He just..well, they both just wow." Margy finished.

"Ohhhh were gonna get to work with hotties. Yay.We never get to work with hotties." Maria screeched as she made her way out of her chair and towards Liz. Hugging her.

"Maria, you as well as I do that Margy makes things to be way better than they really are. I bet that her rebel without a cause is more of a......do you remember that guy from the Fresh Prince of Bell Air....What was his name...oh yeah Carleton. The geeky cousin. The amber eyed one was probably my uncle Peter. You have to remember uncle Peter. The one that would hit on every woman within a block radius, us not included, even if my aunt Patricia was walking with him." Liz explained. Trying her best not to laugh, too much.

"Liz..." Max once again tried to chime in.

"Ewwwwww Lizzy. You just totally ruined it for me. How could you have said that. Margy never lies, right Margy." Maria defended. Hoping to God that Liz wasn't right. Her uncle Peter was sooo not cool at all.

"Right. No but seriously guy's they were hot." Margy tried to explain.

"Yeah, yeah Marg." Liz said as she cut Margy off. "Now if you see cousin Carleton and Uncle Peter around the office tell them to come in here so we can talk business." Liz finished as she hung up on Margy.

"Umm....Liz?"

"So, Max, what is it that you want, and tell Angela to come out of where ever she is," Liz said.

"Well, Liz I just wanted to tell you that, well-"

"Damn those new clients. I'm sorry, Max, you know how it is with these people. If were not late they are. Yet they still want the best job possible."

"Liz. Meet Carleton and Uncle Peter." Max said pointing to Michael and himself.

"What are you talking about?" Liz said, trying to understand what he was talking about.

"Were your new clients."
