Someone just Imed me and asked me how you close an RPG. This is a really good question. Because I don't know. I have never actually been in an RPG that has finished before.
So I thought I would post this question to all of you so maybe we can discuss what we think we should do to finish an RPG.
If the thread master person wants to stop. Does it stop? What if everyone else wants to continue!
I honestly have never even thought about it, because all of your people eventually end up leaving for some reason, or people lose intrest.
So what do you think? How do you finish an RPG?
I will post the resuilts of what we think in rules and regulations in case anyone else ever gets to the point of end in an RPG.
Perhaps someday we may all get there.
Well can't wait to here what you all have to say!
Oh and this is also a great way to meet your fellow RPGers!

I've been thinking about this, too, lately, since it seems like one of the ones I'm in will be coming to an end soon. I was thinking, I guess, that the person who came up with the whole idea should have the right to say, "Okay, it's time to end now. Everyone, post your final post." I thought, then, that everyone would just kinda get what they were feeling out of there system, write it down as their character's(s') final part(s), and then leave it up to the author to do something with it, like post it on another board or something, like the c/c board or the u'c board most likely. But that is an interesting question!! We'll have to see what others think.

I'm with Cominatcha. I think the thread master should tell the rpgers to post their finals thoughts.
Posting the rpg on the CC or UC board sounds like a great idea!

I think it would be really cool if you copied and pasted everything to a board. That would be really cool! I don't know. Its probably up to the thread master.

Yeah, I agree, and that's probably what I'll do when one of mine is finished.

In my experience one of two things happen.
Either it dies slowly when people start becoming unable to post because of school, work, etc, or it dies when the board crashes and the RP is wiped out (I don't believe I've ever had that experience on this board, however).
