Ok, so I'm reposting this cause I'm too lazy to see if I can find the old one. But I have part two all ready so, I'll be posting that soon enough.
I walked walked into West Roswell High and took a look around. I immediately labeled it 'crap' and walked into the admissions office. I looked at the bell on the front desk then at the woman on the phone.
She didn't even flinch.
Wow, not even a glance over the shoulder.
I took the bell and put it next to her ear. Bing Bing Bing Bing Bing Bing
She hurriedly hung up the phone and grabbed the bell away from me.
"What can I do for you?" She asks, her bright blue eyes shooting death rays into my dark ones.
I sense hostility.
"Schedule" I say, sticking out my hand. She gave a look before turning to her computer. "Name please"
She handed me my schedule and looked me over. "Your makeup is too dark and that tongue ring is not allowed." She said disgusted.
I slammed the door in her face.
I sat down at an empty lunch table and opened my bag. Empty.
I take this as a sign that good ole Uncle Pete is pissed about something.
Who needs lunch anyway?
Lunchless, I sit and stare at other people. Eventually I'm surrounded by empty tables. Hmm...it was fun while it lasted.
Suddenly a blonde...thing sits in front of me with a wide cheerful smile.
"You're new aren't you?"
"Aren't you observant"
She stares at me shocked for a second before sticking out her hand. "I'm Maria DeLuca"
"That's nice" I say yawning.
I stare at her hand. I wonder why she's sticking it out like that. It makes me wonder...
"Oh well, I guess I'll see you around." She says, taking her hand back and standing up.
I don't even look at her as she walks away.
"You look mean. I think I'll sit here." Another girl says sitting down.
"Comments like that make my heart beat again." I say without even looking up.
"Ava" Is all she says and I hear her open up a bag of chips and pop one in her mouth.
"So, you're Liz right?"
"One and only"
"Ava let's go" A tall dark haired guy comes up to us.
"Liz, this is Zan"
"Let's go" He growls.
"Isn't he welcoming." I say sarcastically. "I don't have time for your sh*t" He says and then looks over at me. His eyes grow big, as does mine. There's something about him, but I can't tell cause his eyes become steel again.
"And so sweet too" I say, taking a chip from Ava's bag.
"This tastes like it came out of some fat guy's ass" I say swallowing it down. "Sorry, tobasco" She says, packing up her things. "You're a smart ass aren't you?" She asks, smiling.
"I'm sorry, but asses don't come with brains, but good try though" I say, patting her on the shoulder. She laughs as she gets up. "A full blown one I see"
"Lata!" She calls as she follows the guy out of the school and into a jeep with another blonde and a guy with really bad hair.
I stare after them and shrug.
I walk into the "Crashdown Cafe" and almost double over laughing. Oh well, a job's a job. I walk up to the counter. Another bell.
Bing Bing Bing Bing
I, Elizabeth Parker, Have a problem...
That Maria girl comes running up and when she sees me, she smiles. "Hi, Can I help you?"
"You hiring?" I ask, looking down at my chipped black nails. "Yeah, actually we are" She says happily. My head hurts just listening to her. "Here you go" She says, handing me an application.
I fill it out and hand it in. "Thanks" I say and she smiles at me. "Do you want something to eat?"
I stick my hand in my pocket and pull out my money. $2.10
"You got anything for this much?" I ask. " Small Galaxy Fries are $1.50"
"Sure, why not?" I say in an angry tone. She stares at me and nods. I sit down at a booth and put my feet up on the other end.
"Hey" Ava says coming up to my table. "This is Rath, Lonnie, and you know Zan" She says pointing to each person. "You guys know Liz"
We said our hello's and my fries came out. They watched as I mixed ketchup with sweet 'n sour sauce and eat my fries. "That's nasty" Lonnie says, sitting down across from me. "Don't knock it till you've tried it" Lonnie takes a fry and tastes it. "Hey, it's pretty good." Zan stares at her then at me. I raise an eyebrow at him and he looks away.
"You can finish 'em. Gotta go'' And I'm gone.
I walk up to my trailer and open the door to the site of my uncle f*cking a local slut. Yes, Roswell, New Mexico apparently has them too. I walk past them and slam the door to my room.
It should disturb me to see my uncle doin it but I was traumatized at an early age. Nothing can break me. My mom's in jail for life for killing my cheating dad on Christmas morning. In front of me. What does that mean?
I'm as f*cked up as they come.
So, since Pete over there is my only living relative, I was shipped to New Mexico to live with him.
I lie down on my bed and look up at the ceiling.
Someone get me out of here.

Wow. Thanks for all the feedback. Never thought I would get as much. :D Thanks a lot! Hope you like this chapter!
My eyes snapped open as I heard fierce knocking at my bedroom door. I knew it was my uncle so I grabbed Mr. Bat, which if you didn't get by now, is in fact a bat and put it within reaching distance. I slowly opened the door and the foul scent of liquor hit my senses, making me sick to my stomach.
"What the f*ck took you so long?" He asked angrily as I tried to douse my igniting temper. "Well, most people are asleep at 5:30 in the morning"
"Well, the hard-working are up at this hour" He yelled making me wanna smack the hell outta him. I turned around and walked back to my bed. "Yeah, them and fat drunken bastards of Roswell" I mumbled, keeping an eye on the bat stationed near my bedpost. "What was that?" He spat angrily.
"Listen, was there a point to this conversation or what?"
"Why you little-" he belched as he raised his fist to me. I quickly grabbed the bat and threatened him. "You touch me and I will beat the sh*t out of you." I growled. "You couldn't. Like those little arms to do a thing to me."
"Try me, f*ckrag!" I yelled, shaking as I felt adrenaline pump through my veins. His beady eyes stared at me and I saw him back down slowly. "I'm too old for this. Just pick up a six pack on the way home." He ordered as he grinned at my menacing pose. I didn't back down until I heard the door click. I dropped the bat and let out a loud sigh of resignation. I dragged my body over to my bed and sat down at the edge, dropping my head into my hands.
"So, tell me about yourself"
I stared blankly at the guidance counselor. Man, I've been here for three days and they already think I'm "different" as they put it. "Well, I'm 16 and I'm obsessed about Apolo Anton Ohno, you know, the hot speed skater. Although, I'm pretty sure you know what I mean." I say, giving him the eye.
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"Hey, don't get all defensive. I'm totally cool with it." I say, throwing my hands up as if I'm surrendering. "Are you suggesting that I'm gay?"
"Hey hey hey....It's ok. Like I said, it's cool with me, but if you wanna keep it...indoors then by all means, my mouth is shut"
"I am straight"
"No need to deny it now. It doesn't matter to me if you drive in the other direction."
"Drive in the other direction?" He screamed, outraged.
Five minutes later I'm out on a bench at Roswell's very own Height's park. Needless the say, he kicked me out of his office and since I really didn't feel like learning about how the damn earth goes round, I decided to take a free.
I mean you can use those at any time right?
I shrug it off as I sit on a swing and slowly push myself back and forth as I dig my heels in to the gravel. If a f*ckin shrink can't stand me, who will?
I could hear the bell for next period ring and made my way back to the school.
I walk into the Crashdown and walk right past Ava and her gang. I take a seat at the counter and spot the bell on the counter.
You really should've seen that coming.
Maria runs out from the back and spots me. She smiles at me. "I've been looking for you. You got the job!" She gushes.
Oh yeah! I think I might just break a move here and now. You know, it being my life long dream to wear a turqoise uniform and work at an alien themed restuarant. (To all the hard working waitresses/waiters out there: All the power to ya)
"My mom made the decision last night. She wasn't sure but when I put in a good word for you, she agreed that you would be the best choice." She beamed proudly. I grunted at her.
Her smile wavered a bit but then stood firm again. "Well, you actually start in two days, and I'll be training you, ya know, the cashier and the schedule." She rambled. Going oooon and oooon....
"So..." Maria trails off, her smile going down a few notches. I do realize that Maria's just trying being nice...I just think I'm too much of a bitch to care. "Can I get you anything?" She asks, taking out her pad and taking the pen that was behind her ear.
"Uh...yeah, lemme get a Will Smith"
"Sure..." Maria says as she writes it down before going back to the counter and giving it to the cook.
I hear the bell above the door jingle and a really tall thin guy sits down next to me. The cook from the other day.
"Oh hey, you must be Liz" He says smiling. "I'm Alex. Congrats on getting the job. I'll be working with you on Friday."
Just then Maria comes in with my meal. "Oh Alex!, you know Liz" She says, obviously knowing him well. "I know, we were just talking"
Maybe he was talking....
I turn around and see Ava trailed my Zan. "Didn't you see us over there?" Ava asks, pointing at the booth where the two other people sat. What were their names? Ray and Lauren?
"Oh, I must've missed you." I say, unable to keep out a hint of sarcasm. Ava didn't seem to notice but I could feel Zan's eyes on me.
"Oh, ok. Well, anyway, there's this party going on tonight. At the old soap factory."
"Yeah, I...we were just wondering if you were going to be there. We can pick you up."
"Yeah sure, I'll go. I'll meet you here."
I throw the six pack into the cooler and go to my room. I change into all black and start walking back to the Crashdown.
The four come and squeeze me into the back seat.
I watch as the soap factory comes into view.
We walk in and immediately are separated by the large crowd. Well, large for Roswell anyway.
After dancing my ass off on the dance floor, I look over at the tables, the dancing, the bar, the bathrooms.
Wait, a bar...
When these people party, they go all out.
I near the bar and spot Zan drinking a coke. Wussy.
I sit down next to him and slam my fist on the the table to get the mixer's attention.
"Lemme get an orgasm please" I say and smirk as I hear Zan stifle a cough.
Hope this part didn't seem overdone/rushed/ just plain bad.

Ok, I'm so sorry for neglecting this fic. Things have just been crazy around here. Anyhow, thank you for all the great feedback and hope you enjoy the new part.
The party was fun, I must admit. Zan had shocked me right back when he ordered a blowjob. ha. ha. ha....whoo.
The party had actually ended with the police busting in. Who knew? In Roswell nonetheless.
Zan had grabbed my hand and just started running out of no where. Good naturally, I smacked him behind the head and asked what the f*ck he thought he was doing while at the sametime trying desperately to ignore the shockwaves from his firm grasp. Multitasking - My favorite pasttime.
What really shut me up was when I saw the police ram into the dilapidated craphole about half a second after all five of us had gotten in the car. Zan quickly pulled out and sped down the desert road. In the big rush, I had somehow gotten the shotgun seat.
I was still in complete shock. How the f*ck could he have known that sh*t was gonna go down? I looked from Zan to Ava, then Lonnie to Rath. All of them were quiet and stiff, staring ahead. The four always looked so laidback, as do I but at that second all of them looked nervous and a bit....vulnerable. I didn't think I should press it so I just sat back and closed my eyes, letting the cool, New Mexican wind calm my scorched nerves.
I could feel all four of them relax after a while, grateful that I wasn't questioning it. I concentrated on that sixth sense out of sheer boredom, expecting it to fade away. I almost pissed in my pants as I felt it intensify till it didn't just feel like my goddam sixth sense but my seventh, eigth, and ninth sense.
It was as if I could feel them, their individual essence swirling around me.
I snapped my eyes open, alarms going off in my head. I sat there, my whole body tingling and I felt like I had just ran a goddam marathon. I could hear my heart pounding in my ears as the feeling slowly faded.
"You ok?" Zan asked me, shooting me a glance out of the corner of his eyes. "Yeah" I said, swallowing. He gave me another one of those suspicious, pain in the ass inducing looks.
Before I knew it, we were in front of an apartment building. Ava, Lonnie and Rath filed out of the car. "I'll be back" was all Zan offered before he sped off again. "Where do you live?" Zan asked, a certain arrogance in his voice that I'm pretty sure was his trademark. "Drop me off at the crashdown"
"No. It's pretty late." Zan said, his eyes steel. "It's Roswell for Chrissake." I said, ignoring the recent studies.
"Liz..." He said, warning in his voice. I could feel my whole body sizzle at the sight of my name rolling off of his tongue. I quickly pushed the feeling aside. "Just drop me off at the Crashdown"
I sighed in frustration. "Fine, make a left here, go straight till the end of the block." I might be a pathalogical liar.
Zan followed my fast instructions with ease and he slowed in front of a small, cream colored house. "Thanks" I said and I slowly got out of the car. I stood there, waiting for him to drive off. "I'll wait till you go inside." Zan said, his eyes seemingly challenging me.
Yet again, I find myself calling him an ass.
"Fine" I said through gritted teeth. I slowly made my way up the path and went up to the door. My nerves on edge as I reached for the door, I sighed in relief as it opened and I stepped into the unfamiliar house. People should really lock their doors.
I waited till Zan drove off.
"Who the hell are you?!?" I heard a girl scream from behind me. I didn't even turn around as I ripped the door open and ran from that place, a girl's scream in my wake.
Ah, the many adventures of Liz Parker.
The next day, everyone was groaning. They were probably all busted yesterday, and oh so very grounded. Me, being the sadist that I am was practically skipping down the hallways, a big smile on my face.
As I was at my locker the principal's voice rang over the school. "An urgent assembly has been called at 9:30 today. Please make sure you're at the auditorium by then"
I took a seat at the back of the auditorium. A couple rows up sat Zan and his crew.
"Alright. Thank you all for coming" Said the Principal in his thick southern accent. "Isabel Evans has asked me to hold this assembly about a very scary and pressing matter. Isabel?" He asked, and I tall brunette walked up to the podium.
She had Lonnie's build but looked so...fake.
"Yesterday night, a very scary thing happened to me." She began, her voice holding a very rehearsed tremor. Wait, I know that voice...
"In the middle of the night, I went down my stairs to get a glass of water when I found someone near my door, INSIDE my house." She continued on, sounding like a real tortured soul. I hid my smile as I heard collective gasps all around the auditorium. So this was the girl.
"I screamed and the person ran. I couldn't even tell who it was. As most of you know, I live at the edge of 80th, one of the safest places in Roswell."
Oh dear God, all of Roswell was safe.
All of a sudden, I felt a wave of anger hit me but it wasn't my own. It radiated from someone else. I looked around and my eyes fell on Zan. His body language screamed rage. Uh oh.
"And it still happened to me. That's why I asked Principal Riadon to hold this assembly, to tell all of you to becareful and to lock your doors. Thank you"
As soon as the assembly was over I ran out of there, deciding to take the rest of the day off. I had just gotten out of the school's parking lot when...
"Why'd you lie?" I froze at the deep voice. I slowly turned around to see Zan's form right behind me. "How did you-"
"Answer me" he said a bit too forcefully for my liking. "I don't have do do anything" I said.
"What? You don't want me to drive you home so you break into someone elses? How f*cked up are you?" He asked angrily.
Ok, that one stung.
"I told you I didn't want you to drive me home" I said, perfectly calm. "Don't use that horsesh*t with me Liz"
"Maybe it's none of your goddam business" I said, my eyes narrowing and my voice sharpening. "Maybe it is" Zan said, his voice equally poisonous. "Why don't you get outta my face?"
"Why don't you just tell me what the hell you were thinking."
"For Chrissake, it's not like I was holding her at gunpoint." I spat. "Liz! Do you wanna end up in jail?"
"Why the f*ck do you care?"
Zan stood back, looking mildly surprised. His eyes became steel, all anger gone. "I don't know." He gave me a dissappointed look before he walked back towards the school, leaving me with a sinking feeling in my stomach.
I walked in to the trailer late that night. "Did you get the beer?" Pete asked me. "Yeah, yesterday"
"You liar" he said, getting up. "There's nothing in the fridge."
He opened the cooler and there was nothing there. I looked around the place and saw the beer cans all around the room. "That's because you drank it all you dumb f*ck."
The next thing I knew, he had me pinned to the wall, his grip seemingly cutting off the circulation of my blood. "Don't you dare talk to me like that. When I tell you to buy beer, you buy beer." He growled at me. "Get off me" I said, pushing off the wall. He violently slammed me backwards, hitting my head hard. His cold blue eyes looked at me in disgust. "What a piece of sh*t" He threw me towards my room and I fell on my knees. "Get the beer tomorrow"
He laughed a little to himself before going into his room.
I crawled into my room, hot tears already making its way down my face. I looked at my arms where he had held me seconds before and winced when my finger came in contact. I wiped vicously at my watery eyes. I hate crying, to me it showed weakness.
I snuck on my window and walked my way to one of the two parks in Roswell and sat on the same swing I always sat on. I started to swing lightly, the chains squeaking in the quiet night. I looked up at the stars as the wind lightly caressed my face. I guess I was too caught up to feel someone sit on the swing next to me until he started to talk.
"A little late to be swingin don'tcha think?"
I snapped my head to my right and caught sight of a familiar pair of amber eyes.
"I could ask you the same thing" I said just above a whisper. It just seemed wrong to talk any louder.
After a few minutes of silence I looked back at Zan, who was still watching me swing lightly back and forth. His intense stare unnerved me a little. It was the first time I saw his eyes soft. "What are you doing here?" I asked him softly, our argument still fresh in my mind.
"I don't know really. I just felt that I needed to be here."
We stared at eachother before he offered me a crooked smile.
A little cocky but I'll accept it.
After a few seconds, I smiled back.
WHEW. Feedback! FEEEDDBACCKK!! Please!!
